Good and easy when fried in a cast iron skillet

Lots of negative reviews commenting on the taste and dryness. I have never had a problem and been buying this product for at least 6 or 7 years. I just season with salt and lemon pepper and pan fry it. Maybe 5-6 minutes per side. Start with skin side up in the pan. Always great. I tried some that was already seasoned and don't need that. I like that it is wild caught and a product of the USA. The individually frozen packs are convenient for me. I just take one out the night before I plan to cook it and leave it in the refrigerator in the vacuum pack. Rinse it off with cold water before I season it and have my cast iron skillet hot and ready. I use just a bit of olive oil in the pan. Maybe a teaspoon at most. Rarely have I found scales left on the skin or a bone. I try to have salmon every Sunday night so that I know I am eating it once a week.

Always Alaskan Salmon

Many times they're not even portions. Sometimes, mostly tail pieces. But, this is the best option to get real Alaskan salmon!

We must like the Atlantic better.

The Alaskan salmon was not tender and still had the skin attached to it. We did not enjoy it at all.
