Wish these were in stock all year round but I guess that's not possible due to seasonality. At first I thought there couldn't possibly be a difference by buying a "name brand" kiwi fruit. But Zespri is hands down the best - especially the gold kiwi. I eat a lot of kiwi because it's good for digestive issues but I have learned to just skip it when Zespri isn't available. Other brand green kiwis often are rock hard and sour and never soften/ripen even when left out for days and end up getting thrown away.

I’ll select the green Kiwi next time, instead of the golden ones. The kiwi flesh did not have a bright gold color like they usually have. They were a little too ripe at purchase, too. I’d like to see a “Best by” date on these pkgs, as the buyer has no idea of when they were packaged and when they’re getting old.

I have been buying these for months and they have always been delicious. This last batch, though they felt ripe, were green inside and tangy. I let the sit for a week and they were still the same. I couldn't eat them by themselves, so they ended up going in smooties.

What a surprise! Had never had the gold ones before. I love the green ones but was really surprised how ‘fruitful’ these tasted, delish! Also I didn’t realize how nutritious they are. Believe it or not the skin holds a significant amount of vitamins as well. On our shopping list every week now.

I was disappointed in this product. I usually buy these but this time they were not very good. Normally they are really good. Hopefully the next time they will be better. Maybe in the summer they will be better. Not sure I would recommend these at this time.

Favorite kiwi fruit that’s quick to prepare since the gold version’s thin skin is delicious & nutritious to eat too (vs the green version’s skin that’s way too tough for me). I just snip off both ends with a paring knife and cut in fours. Kiwis have a lower glycemic index for a lower glucose impact.

We did curbside pick up. The two boxes of Kiwis were over-ripe almost rotten. I tried to call helpline and store. The customer service rep was not able to help and put me on hold for store manager, the wait was too long and I was not able to speak with the manager. Due to pandemic I could not go back and stand in lines to make the return. So I have decided not to get fruits in my next curbside pickup order. This was a disappointing experience.

I LOVE this brand of golden kiwis, HOWEVER, lately they have NOT been any good. They were hard as rocks and before they would ripen they started rotting??!!! Perhaps they were frozen by accident, or not properly handled? We through away a lot and finally decided to return to the store, which was luckily not a problem. I took photos, too. Soooo disappointing, as they are delicious, otherwise.
