I shopped a lot of pergola kits and feel this one was a very good value. Assembly took about 7 hours with myself and my wife. Using the Bilt app on a tablet is highly recommended, since it's much easier when you can zoom in and rotate to see how parts go together. No issues whatsoever with holes lining up. The one problem we faced was getting the two end assemblies upright and connected together with the side rails. It would have been far easier with three people - two to support the end assemblies while the third person installed the side rails on top. The instructions don't give any tips. We managed, but it wasn't pretty! I also question how, once fully assembled, it's possible with two people to mark where the plastic feet should sit, move the pergola to anchor the feet and then put the pergola back in place. The pergola weighs 400 pounds. Our patio is shaded from the prevailing winds by the house, so we'll take our chances and not anchor it.

We bought the 16x20 Beaumont pergola a month or so ago and have been so happy with our decision. It shipped pretty quickly and arrived in great condition. We were missing one of the included tools and they overnighted it to us. Amazing customer service! We would recommend downloading the app for the assembly instructions because you can see the parts/boards in 3d and look at them closer. My husband, my 14 year old son and I worked together to assemble it. It took us a total of probably 8-9 hours or so to complete. My husband actually did the top part by himself or it may have been even quicker. The quality is excellent and we are super happy with how everything turned out!

I did a lot of research before i purchased my Pergola and everything came back to backyard discovery. We are VERY happy with our purchase from the start even ordering during COVID they were very responsive. We had two damaged boards and i made a call and those boards were fedex'd to me right away in great heavy duty cardboard packaging. We assembled ourselves we did have some tall men helping to hold things up until we made sure everything was square. Great instructions. I recommend water sealing BEFORE you put it looks absolutely beautiful and i would think much easier before its up. Overall VERY happy with every aspect really enjoying our new back yard!!!

This company has been excellent to do business with...very responsive to questions and superior customer support for installation. The Pergola was easy to assemble with clear instructions, and with pieces that were milled and pre-drilled correctly at every step. All of the hardware came with at least one extra piece. The final product looks great. We did quite a bit of research and found that this product offered excellent value for the price. We could not be more pleased with the company and our end-result.

Very good quality cedar wood and hardware with this kit. With moderate skills, you can assemble in one day. The pergola was delivered to my driveway in two long boxes. A nice looking product after assembly. If you are going to seal or add another coat of stain, doing so before assembly makes the project easier.

The package was delivered on the day promised. It was put in our driveway so we opened the boxes an carried the parts to the back yard, which was supper easy since the parts are light and sturdy. My 16 year old grandson did most of the work because I am limited on how much I can lift over my head. We did the assembly is less than a day and it looks great and really sets off our concrete patio. to

My husband put it together by himeself. I love it. The only drawback is I bought it to have some shade over my patio furniture and it does not provide any shade. So now I have to buy some kind of cover to put in the top to get shade. Otherwise it's very well made and makes the backyard look so peaceful next to the pool.

We are very happy with this pergola! My husband, who is very handy, was able to assemble the pergola by himself over two days (not sure this would have been the case with a larger structure). Instructions for assembly were clear and well organized. Highly recommend!

I love love love love love love love love my new pergola backyard discoveries you are a dream maker with great products I would recommend this to anyone and I went through a contractor referred by backyard discoveries to put together that was the best choice I made money well spent enjoying and loving my new addition to my home.

Received the pergola, checked boxes, everything seemed to be in order. Now the hard part, putting together. Well surprisingly easy, only drawback was the 93 plus degree heat we had to put up with, so we took it slow took 3 days because of heat. Otherwise all went smoothly and it looks very nice for the price. Yes it is a cedar out of China, and since we weren't sure how we were going to like it, the price was right!
