I have used the Michelin ...

I have used the Michelin LTX A/T's for about 3 years and found them to be an excellent tire. I drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle and they are very good in deep snow e.g. such as the one that crippled trans- portation during Xmas 2009 snowstorm in Omaha, NE. I moved about very well and never once was stuck. I saw many immobilized vehicles. I also travel from Denver, Co to Phoenix, AZ through the Salt River Canyon and the tires provide excellent ride and traction on the curvy mountain highway. Haven't really done any heavy duty off-road 4 wheeling, but they provide excellent traction and ride when pulling my 17 1/2 foot boat on dirt roads to the lake and out of the water up some steep boat ramps.

Total Satisfaction

I've been driving Ford E250's since 1990. After wearing out the factory installed tires at 40,000 Km. I put on new Michelin LT235/85R16 (120/116R). I have Michelin on all my trucks and cars. These tires have stood the test of time, through heavy loads and heavy towing, winter and summer. Vehicles handle incredible. Now at 400 000 km on my 2009 E250 the tires need replacing. After requesting the LT235/85R16 (120/116R) from my tire guy who I have always dealt with. He notified me that these tires are no longer available from Michelin. He recommended the Hankook Dyna Pro RH12 LT235/85R16. I was not impressed. I know I will not be satisfied with the performance or short life of these tires. I like and want Michelin. Please let me know. Are Michelin LT235/85R16 really not available? Cause if they are I WANT THEM!! Thank You from a dedicated customer Mark. Ontario, Canada

Better to be seen not heard

Two things my dealer told me about the LTX A/T2 tires is they would be quieter and have a smoother softer ride compared to the popular tire that I had on my truck at the time. That was definitely the two things I immediately noticed. The tread design is perfect for all my applications of highway miles, pulling trailers, and the ability to get around in snow and mud. With Michelin's proven track record of quality, durability and performance I made the right business decision in purchasing the LTX tires.

Awesome Tire

I've purchased these tires before for my 2004 Dodge Durango SLT 4x4 and I work for a tire shop, I originally went with these tires because they looked great and the tread pattern is what i was looking for, get freeway and offroad use, I installed them the day before the snow hit our town and all i have to say i was extremely imressed it when through the snow and drove on ice no problems i didnt slip or slide once with them, i was driving around people stuck going up hills i even had to venture off the road becuase cars and downed trees were blocking my path that night, but still had to wait in some spots for the people to get the trees out of the road, absolutely amazing performance, recently had to sell her, but i eventually got a 2001 dodge ram 1500 4x4 SLT laramie edition, and i bought the exact same tire, I cant wait till it snows again but took the truck on mine and my wifes honeymoon and went to the grand canyon, and the truck had no problems on the gravel road, it was funny because we were passing the cars that were driving 15 miph becuase their cars wernt made for the road, i would just drive around them and continue on the road at 40mph no issues at all going around corners on gravel, cant wait to take it to the 4x4 truck offroading place in town, anyways all that being said, you will not hate these tires, also to the others that post bad reviews, you shouldn't write so badly about the tire, yes sometimes you do get the bad apples of the tire stock but michelin makes it right at least at the shop i work at, and for the others with fords your trucks have that horrible slant turning problem that will cup any tire, my advise for you guys is to rotate the tires every 2 to 3k miles, thats the way it is for owning one of those trucks, anyways happy motoring everyone

If want the 'best'....

If you can 'afford' the 'best' these are the tires to get. I travel across Michigan weekly in all four seasons. Have a cabin 1/2 mile off of a dirt road. hunt. I fish. I go on two tracks. I don't like to nor do I get stuck...., yet very quiet on the highway.

Don't waste your time

We bought a 2012 Ford F350 Crewcab, Shortbed, 4x4 Powerstroke one year ago. As of last night we have 25,100 miles on these tires; the ones that are suppose to get 60k, well the two rear tires are at the wear bars. I surely wouldn't think when you buy a new vehicle one should be replacing tires at 25k. The wear is terrible, the road noise is great, as is not there and the ride is very good. Something as to be done about the tire wear.....one year, REALLY!

Great Wear, Secure in Wet/Snowy Weather

Just purchased, at least, my 6th set of these tires for several different vehicles including my 06 Tundra and our old 05 Sequoia. Just purchased a set to place on our new 18 Sequoia, predictions for bad winter. Have travelled in ice, snow, rain and other weather with no issues. Have always gotten 70k plus on a set of these tires, granted limited off road use. Will be getting another set for my Tundra, probably next year.

definitely will buy ltx a/t2 tires again

I purcahsed my 265/75r16 load range e michelin ltx A/T2 tires spring of 2012 i still cant believe the way my 2500hd silverado drives with these tires. the ride is hands down the best i have ever felt in my truck and i have over 250,000 miles on the truck and have had several brands of tires. they have been very impressive in the snow also. i have about 25000 miles on them now and tread is still over 3/4. traction in wet and light mud conditions is also much better then any other tires i have had. i keep them rotated and have never had them out of balance. any chance i have to show someone these tires i do, i am that impressed with them. Very pleased keep up the good work michelin people and company. I cant stress enough on the fact that they made my truck feel better than new to drive and tow with.

Amazing traction

These tires are amazing, it’s has superior traction pulling grain wagons which exceeds 84,000 lbs it’s a great everyday tire, we have recommended it to a lot of other farmers and they love it! Before you complain about weight restrictions farmers are exempt in my state up to 300,000 lbs

Very poor tread life

The worst wearing tries I have ever owned. I got 25,000 mile (1/2 ton truck) on a tire with a 60,000 mile warranty. No trailer pulling or heavy payloads. The truck was used as a car. Bought tires from a National company so I think they were original Michelin and not counterfits.I got 35,000 from the original equipment tires.
