It seemed like a good way to start the day & get most of the nutrients that we need while watching our diets through the day. My husband started to lose weight while I gained but found out that it was bc I got pregnant. I confirmed with my Dr. that it would be good to continue and kept going. We love it and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I could never get him to drink anything healthy. This ensure, is his drink of choice. We are like super hero's with this wonderful drink. This is a great vitamin supplement taken in the mornings helps to take my medications. After the operation and home therapy I spent over 4 year going to the gym 3 days a week then reduced this to doing my hobby of woodworking- making furniture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Ensure (Original Nutrition Shake) accidentally, while finishing relatives left over ½ bottle of serving. Upon drinking it intermittently for a few days I noticed a distinct boost in energy while playing tennis. Discontinuing Ensure noticeably decreased the effect. The high protein does not appear to grant the same benefit, at least in my case. I am a 65 year old man. I would highly recommend trying Ensure.

I absolutely love Ensure, the taste and health benefits. I am 23 years old, and I drink it daily. I am very active (Firefighter) and I have a very fast metabolism. I've struggled to gain weight for years due to not always having an appetite, and/or because I burn more calories then I put in. I've been drinking Ensure for about ~4-5 months now, and I can definitely tell a huge difference in being able to gain weight.

So my nutritionist suggested that I get Ensure so that I could at least get some protein. Now that I'm finished with chemotherapy and my taste buds are back, I'm still drinking the ensure because it is a great way to get your daily protein and it tastes good.
