So I decided to replace my regular breakfast with one Original Ensure. Energy-wise, it carries me through until lunchtime and I've tried all of the flavors and find them equally delicious.

So I thought I would try some since I am so thin and only eat tv dinners since Ron was the cook for 11 years. I look terrible since I was thin to begin with. I went to the doctor to ask for B12 shots. They were very expensive and my insurance company will not pay for the shots. I will be 77 years old in a few months. So they gave me some samples of Ensure and Boost. I liked the taste, I thought it was going to taste like medicine. I was pleasantly surprised so I bought some.

I have it straight as a delicious shakes, I use it with strawberry, mango, soursop, papaya, banana, or other fruits to make a variety of nutritional shakes. I have no doubt that this product has helped him stay healthy through his recovery of many operations. We try to eat a healthy diet of protein and salads using Ensure as a healthy dessert or afternoon snack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have been drinking the shakes for about three years, it has prevented having high fat content breakfasts. My wife passed away in June of this year from pneumonia and Afib. While in the hospital she was given Ensure with a light breakfast, to provide much needed vitamin content as she had not been eating. During her stay she started to gain weight and strength. She was instructed to continue with Ensure. It was unfortunate that two weeks later she passed away from heart failure. I continue drink an Ensure to this day.
