As a fellow health care professional l must respond to this and with great enthusiasm: Contradictory to the "doctor" reviewing Ensure, I am a nurse who has worked with thousands of patients, from children to the elderly. This drink supplement is an absolute benefit at times when calories and nutrition cannot be accommodated through the traditional 3-meal intake alone. They are great for snacks and they only have 39 total carbs (Total carbs 40g - dietary fiber 1g = 39 carbs in one bottle serving) - not the 60 carbs that was erroneously suggested. Enjoy them in the fridge. They are great! Even kids will love them! Chalk full of vitamins and minerals. Yum!

My son was in car accident and this drink kept him healthy as he healed. I drink it to keep vitamins in my system. It is excellent if for some reason your diet is restricted or there is an eating problem. It can easily take the place of a meal or simply act as a supplement. The benefits can be felt and seen almost immediately. You start to feel better and can start to function normally. I would highly recommend this product. I have tried several of similar products that are on the market and found Ensure far superior in taste and better for your overall health.

When I have a migraine and don't feel like eating, the strawberry ensure gives me what I need and tastes great too. On days where I'm very busy and want to skip a meal, I have my strawberry ensure on ice.

Many years ago my grandma could not get her nutritional needs met. She was very thin. We went to see a healthcare professional. He recommended nutritional drinks. I bought ensure for her. Since she started drinking ensure, she has been a healthy grandma.

Do not, I repeat, do not get this gross banana nut ensure flavor. I already have a hard time drinking the other flavors but this one makes the experience a thousand times worst. I almost vomited after drinking this. It has an artificial banana flavor that will not satisfy anyone’s tastebuds. I recommend the chocolate and vanilla ensure which is still semi-disgusting but is a lot better than this. They taste and smell just like pudding but with a vitamin after taste. Don’t try getting the generic brand because it’s cheaper, they have a much greater gross vitamin taste.
