For some reason, no food or drink tasted the same to me and there was nothing I found appetizing. I couldn't keep anything down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am going to say that I have been put on a puree diet and I love the ensures that I drink and there is nothing close to the taste of the ensures supplement drinks and my favorite is the Strawberry but I love all 3 drinks and continue to use them for my diet, since my digestive system is not working properly and I am being maintenance for my liver issue. I am on a fixed income and the price for the drinks are expensive for me with my co-pays for medicine and other things that come along with the expenses of living I have a hard time getting to be able to have the drinks on a daily basis and I would love to be able to afford them to use for my diet everyday.

When he was starting to swallow again and needed to put some weight on I gave him shakes. I used a bottle of Ensure, carnation instant breakfast, two tablespoons of peanut butter, 1/2 bannana and a dove ice cream bar.
