When taking this product glucose levels tend to rise due to sugar content. Thus with the lack of flavors available and reducing sugar intake don't use this product as often as I would like.

The nurses would give her an Ensure. She would drink it with a straw that the nurses would hold to her mouth and when I was there I would do it. She always seemed to enjoy it, so I tasted it once and it was good. So naturally when I choose it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a severe “dry mouth” condition and after having had a long period of depression and not eating and being dehydrated, I was in very poor condition, After having a total hip replacement surgery, and still not eating, I was given Ensure for the nutrients to help me get stronger, especially when I went home. I believe that drinking Ensure helped me regain strength. I am now starting to recover from all my problems and I have continued using Ensue and I look forward to it. I truly believe that Ensure kept me alive . It has a great taste along with the vitamins, etc I would not have taken something tasteless and/or unpleasant to drink!

I lost 15 pounds being sick, and the doctor and nutritionist recommended it the regain the weight. I am under weight and I have gained back 10 pounds of the 15 so far. It is nutritious and healthy, where other way of gaining weight can be less healthy.

I like it because it packs well in lunchs, it freezes so well and will defrost in its bottle and you just have toshake it well and it is a delicious tasting treat for me when I'm craving chocolate and I'm on a restricted diet and fluid intake so it covers all the protein low in sugar and salt. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes it gets frustrating to have to drink these nutritional products but the dark chocolate by ensure just tastes like you're giving yourself a chocolate treat! I've been made a blended smoothie out of it for an added twist. And it is great heated up in the winter for a nice hot coca drink but full of nutrients!! Don't know where I would be without this one!
