[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had knee replacement surgery for the 2nd time in 2 years. I knew I was going to need extra help with my dietary intake. I drank 1 ensure a day 1 month before surgery to make sure I was getting needed vitamins and nitrients to help me through surgery. After surgery when I was on a multiple regime of pain meds, I couldn’t eat, no appetite, lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks. So I started again drinking 1 ensure a day. It was such a great help! I felt better knowing I at least had something to help me. I am so grateful for Ensure! I will always return to drinking Ensure every time I feel I need an extra lift in my vitamin intake! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am writing this review for my mother who is 87 years old. She wasn't eating and went from 158 lbs to 108 lbs so her Dr recommended ensure. She was to drink 2 a day, well those 2 became 5 to 6 of ensure plus as that is what we started with. I have since switched her to original and she is still drinking 5 to 6 a day. She loves them. She is worried when she goes to her Dr she is going to take them away, but I being her daughter will still let her drink at least 2 a day. I am the one that buys them and it is quite a cost but she is my mom and i will get it for her some how. Thank you Donna

She swears by your product. I personally have been drinking Glucerna since 2007. I have no preferrence in flavor. I throughly enjoy all four flavors. I drink one to two per day. The story be told, the truth of this product is amazing, my mom is 87 years old and has Alzheimer's, when I go to see her at the nursing home and bring her ensure and offer her some to drink her smile amazes me knowing that she loves ensure and is getting what vitamin supplements she needs!

My son was in car accident and this drink kept him healthy as he healed. I drink it to keep vitamins in my system. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't feel like eating the first thing when I get up, so usually the first thing I eat or drink is when I get in the car to go somewhere (meet a client, go to a job or a doctor's app't, etc. etc.), so ENSURE is just terrific to satisfy my hunger and give me proper nourishment when I rush off to my first app't!! Love the taste - especially the Butter Pecan and Vanilla flavors - and I know I'm NOT packing on any unnecessary calories or fat!

Vanilla is my favorite because it tastes real and is smooth not sandy it also has the protein that I need so that I can retain my muscle mass, and it contains all the nutritional value my body needs, I use it because I do not always eat the right foods that have enough protein. The product helps in both of those areas.
