We pour the contents of a bottle into a mixer, add fruits and ice, and in a few minutes we have an excellent drink.

In order to have this operation he had to literally stay on a liquid diet for 10 days. Ensure was a God send. He is still very much dependibg on Ensure for for meals. It has helped him to not be so hungry. We have used both regular Ensure and also the high protein Ensure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been drinking Ensure since I had most of my intestines removed in 1975 because of Crohn's Disease. Ensure was recommended by a nutritionist. I use it as a base for shakes, smoothies, hot drinks (mix with cocoa powder or grain beverage crystals (coffee substitute), and everywhere else I'd use milk. Drinking Ensure has literally "kept me going" during those times when I had difficulty eating. I'm now 79 years old, just got my PhD in botanical medicine, and my doctors call me their "miracle baby" because I've been able to do everything I want, including long distance running, despite my medical circumstances. I owe the fact that I can still maintain my weight to the 3 containers of Ensure that I drink every day.

My son was in car accident and this drink kept him healthy as he healed. I drink it to keep vitamins in my system.
