It is excellent if for some reason your diet is restricted or there is an eating problem. It can easily take the place of a meal or simply act as a supplement. The benefits can be felt and seen almost immediately. You start to feel better and can start to function normally. I would highly recommend this product. I have tried several of similar products that are on the market and found Ensure far superior in taste and better for your overall health.

My dad, (85 years old) and I drink it everyday, I started drinking first after I got sick and I introduced it to dad after he came to live with me from Japan. Dad is taking painkiller so he does not have any appetite. He refused to eat decent meals so I explained about Ensure to him. Now he drinks Ensure 3 times a day with his small portion of food. This drink supplement is an absolute benefit at times when calories and nutrition cannot be accommodated through the traditional 3-meal intake alone. They are great for snacks and they only have 39 total carbs (Total carbs 40g - dietary fiber 1g = 39 carbs in one bottle serving) - not the 60 carbs that was erroneously suggested. Enjoy them in the fridge. They are great! Even kids will love them! Chalk full of vitamins and minerals. Yum!

I don't always eat the right things and I think this is a good way to stay healthy. Also since it contains only 220 calories is a big plus.
