Do not recommend because lid will crack at both hinges after using for one season. Had to duck tape lid and can not use hinges now which is not only ugly, it also defeats purpose of lid. Also I have to secure lid to keep rain getting in and to keep lid on. Ridiculous! We are two adults who live in a high priced development, so this looks bad. This is unacceptable for price of item. Rest of the container has been sturdy.

I bought this deck box Saturday night, assembled it on Sunday evening and by Monday evening both corners have bowed. I can slip my hand under each corner into the inside, so it’s definitely not weather proof. Leaving anything inside the box is not an option. Incredibly disappointed in the quality.

Purchased this hoping to protect brand new outdoor furniture cushions from mice and other rodents. However, it apparently has enough gaps in the box at the bottom and it certainly has at the top under the lid for rodents to get in. Ruined brand new cushions. Not a box I would recommend.

Ok I’ve had mine now for over 2 years. I got lucky and got it on sale in July I believe it was And I did that by reading reviews and noticing dates so I paid like 119.99 for mine. I am disabled but had no prob putting it together by myself. What I use it most for is Actualy a work table/bench, as it’s very tall so I can work on a lot on the top of it plus store a lot inside in fact I considered getting one for my autistic son cause he likes confined places and would love it in his room to get inside with his iPad and just chill once the white comes back in stock I will be doing that for sure. It looks exactly the same as it did when I got it and I don’t have a covered porch so it gets direct sunlight from about noon til dark. The lid opens and closes super easy with the pistons is absolutely water proof. I do find a lot of spider webs and spiders but the bottom has a small gap at the seam. May try some spray foam for that. I did try spraying flex seal but it just ran through the gap. My deck boards are not as close together as they should be so I’m sure it’s spiders entering from under the porch into the bottom other than that I hear most people don’t have that problem. That would be my only complaint. I also have the small deck box 2 actually same brown color by keter and love those too use them for my automatic pool vacuums and as side tables or seats. And I have the medium one that looks more like a bench but doesn’t have the back on it like some do. It doesn’t lock like this one and the small 30 gallon. Keter changed their warranty policy while back they will only add it if the item is registered within certain time frame so best to handle that. I missed out on drill and driver lifetime warranty from rigid cause I was not aware it had to be registered within 90 days to obtain that coverage so hope this helps someone. But I’m not thinking warranty would ever be necessary for this deck box it’s so sturdy and again in direct sun light and not a fade or warp from me working on the lid for various projects such as sanding and painting

I've purchased this product twice. The first time, after bringing it home and opening it, I found that at least 3 parts were completely broken. I understand mistakes can be made, so I thought it was no big deal. I took it back to Sam's and they were wonderful in the return process. They gave me a credit as I just wanted the same deck box. The second time, after bringing it home and opening it again, I found that there were parts missing! I then had enough and called the company, who then told me that the parts would take between 8-12 weeks to come in. I definitely would not recommend this product to anyone.

I ordered one of these while it's on sale and the first one I just received is an obvious return and as soon as I opened it, I can tell why, one of the main support posts has broken plastic on it so it will not hold together. I just ordered another "new" one and I hope this one comes new. It's really annoying that Sam's Club would ship out an obvious return (the box looked like it was dropped off a cliff and then tapped back together) as a new item without checking if its already damaged.

Writing this 9 months after purchase! Very disappointed! Have purchased 5 of the Keter bins from Sam’s Club in past. The quality has changed. The top was cracked and side damaged. Keter said no parts call back in six months. Called Sams Club customer service. Gentleman refrain was Im so sorry. However no one ever came and picked it up. Called again, this still languishes on my porch. Called Keter back after 6 months. Guess what No Parts. The quality isn’t the same at all if you look at the other bins. Plastic thinnnervand not as solid. Huge waste of my money. More disappointed with Sams Club than Keter. Have been a long term customer. Too many quality issues on items purchased. Don’t buy this bin. cracked. Called Keter

I’m really disappointed with this deck box. I bought the Keter 230-Gallon XXL Deck Box just about a year ago, and the lid has already cracked right where the hinges connect. It wasn’t abused, overloaded, or mishandled — it simply didn’t hold up to normal outdoor use. For something that’s supposed to be durable and weather-resistant, I expected it to last much longer than a single year. Now the lid won’t stay open properly and the crack keeps getting worse. Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone until the quality issues are addressed.

This product arrived with no hardware, instructions, no bottom or corner piece. The box was intact with no holes. This is an error by the manufacturer. Now we have to attempt to pack it back up to send via Fed Ex. We wanted a large deck box for our yard items. I am so disappointed.

The product was sent out with missing parts. Instuctuons on the box say to not return to store and contacr company. Contacted company said they would send out part. 2 weeks later, the company sent an email saying no replacement was available in the foreseeable future. Outside the window to return to store. I would not purchase this item again.
