I am a DYI type of person. had it delivered in the box. Took me maybe 20-30 minutes to assemble. It mostly snaps together with a few added screws, and it made it very sturdy. do yourself a favor and watch a twitter video on how to assemble and that made it even easier as it came with no directions. This thing is huge all will pack in a lot. I plan to buy a deck box cover on Amazon for the added protection against the elements.

This box is a lifesaver. I bought it even before we finished the deck remodeling. It was time to remove old pressure treated boards and replace it with the composite decking. This summer weather is unpredictable - rains almost every day. At the end of the day my handyman had to carry his tools 100'+ uphill to the shed. Since I bought this Keter 230 Gal. XXL Deck Box he keeps on thanking me every day about how big and convenient this box is. Now he can store all his tools just feet away from the work area. Almost $200 after taxes isn't that cheap, but from the day one we are benefiting from having it. I would strongly recommend for anyone who has a deck or patio you would definitely have some stuff that needs to be either just stored or put out of the way to keep place organized. This box is a lifesaver.

Perfect - exactly as described in capacity and was replacing a 20 year old outdoor box that we were using for firewood (also Sam purchase). Seems to be holding up well to heavy wood being tossed in and not bowing under the weight so far. Has been waterproof for our firewood after a couple storms.

I have 6 very large seat cushions (25x25") and the back cushions are 24x20. I needed a big box for my deck. This was super easy to assemble, but I have two complaints. First, the lock parts do not sit side-by-side with each other when installed, making it difficult to put a lock through it. There is only one way to install so it's not me. Second, the lid does not sit tightly on the box. After taking out my cushions, there was a dead moth and a dead bee in it. Also, although rain doesn't seem to get in, even with a tornado nearby, the buds from my pear tree did on a windy day. If it is to allow for air, it's poorly designed if insects get in. BTW, the smaller deck box has air 'holes' but I put screen material over them. Not an option here.

We purchased this for storage on our Houseboat. Assembly was easy. I noticed that the lid was a bit flimsy but it had a couple metal pieces to strengthen it so I though maybe it had been well thought out. I was wrong. The first week up, the wind blew and even though the lid had closures on it it still open but cracked the lid were the hinges are so no it’s no good to me. We liked the large size. They could of used thicker plastic.

This is the second storage box I have ordered, the first ( unit was opened at both ends and unit was coming out of box) second one received was damaged both boxes with deep holes and had broken/damaged pieces of the storage boxes, you could see the pieces through the holes. I am asking for this item to be picked up as well. PLEASE credit my account for both of these unsatisfactory boxes/deliveries. Thank you Bonnie Uzzle

I bought this item in white three times and every time I opened the box, the deck box was damaged. Sam’s replaced or refunded my money with zero issues so they did their job in an excellent fashion. Now there are no white deck boxes available across multiple stores or on-line. Frustrating…

Package was delivered previously opened and damaged. Several parts were missing to include the manual. Do not buy online. Not the same model in the club. Had to pack in vehicle to return it to the store for and exchange. Waste of valuable time ordering on SamClub.com. No quality control of items selected for delivery. Don’t do it.

Four corner support parts were in a bag that had been previously opened. The parts were melted and warped and would not lock into the top. I've spent t two days emailing and 1-hour waiting on telephone hold with NO response from Customer Service. I'll try to contact them one more day or this reject will end up back at Sam's for refund.

The first Deck Box was damaged in shipping and missing parts. Didn't arrive in original packaging. Was repackaged by shipper. You immediately sent a second Deck Box. This one arrived also damaged and missing parts but in the original box. Combined parts and assembled one Deck Box. This is a good Deck Box. I would recommend buying this Deck Box. Sent two incomplete sets of damaged parts in one package back to Sam's.
