This is terrible quality. I have had many Ketter boxes through the years and this is the worst! Very rickety and poor construction. Can't sit anything, much, on top (don't let kids sit on it). But mostly very bad due to not being the same from front to back. The back is very ugly. Could be okay as long as you have a solid wall to put back against.

poor quality. The top blew off from high wind and now serves no purpose. it is a large piece of garbage now. It was too much money to not last 1 year. I reach out to the company for the warranty and they said they don't cover acts of nature. it wasn't a tornado or hurricane. I am very disappointed. It was not worth fitting in my vehicle, assembling, and filling with my garden supplies.

At first, I was really pleased with this outdoor storage box. The size was perfect for our needs, and it seemed to keep everything inside dry, even through rain. However, my experience didn't hold up over time. After less than two years of use, the box lid cracked and broke. Given that it's marketed as weather- and UV-resistant resin, I expected it to last significantly longer. Unfortunately, it just didn't hold up to normal outdoor conditions. I would only recommend it if you're looking for a short-term solution rather than something built to last.

I have several Keter deckboxs. These came with the plastic piece snapped and are not near the quality of my older ones. I bought 2 a couple weeks ago and now they are almost $50. apiece cheaper. I ould send them back but I need the storage now. Not happy at all.

I ordered two boxes online. I got them in the store. I tried to build the first one, but without success. Parts are not very strong, poorly docked. I have extensive experience in assembling interior/outdoor furniture. That being said, I got stuck at step 2 and after 30 minutes of struggle - gave up. Will return both of them tomorrow.

This product arrived with no hardware, instructions, no bottom or corner piece. The box was intact with no holes. This is an error by the manufacturer. Now we have to attempt to pack it back up to send via Fed Ex. We wanted a large deck box for our yard items. I am so disappointed.

Very easy to put together. Took 2 (not so spry) women 1 1/2 hours to put one together. One person can assemble it, but it is best if there are two when attaching the lid. The material is not very heavy, but unless you plan to move it often, it is certainly stable enough to hold pillow cushions (which is the exact reason I purchased it). I got it at sale price, but even the regular price was less than most. Box arrived slightly damaged, but that could be the carrier not the seller. No parts were missing, and the deck box was not damaged. Gave it 4 stars because the construction material was lighter than I had hoped for. But, perhaps my expectations exceeded today's market. Would definitely purchase again. Please keep in mind it's brand new so I'm excited about it, and may sing a different tune in a few years. Don't expect that to happen, but....

This is heavier and more durable than expected (good thing) and was easy to assemble. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the edges had excess material hanging off that I had to cut off with a blade which required me to spend more time than I preferred, doing something that I should not have needed to do. Other than that, I am super happy with it and I love that the smaller size was sold out and I had to reluctantly spend $50 more.... It was worth it. It holds sooooooo much stuff!!!!!

This is the perfect deck box. Very large! I bought in white and it looks so nice on my deck. Holds a ton. Very sturdy. Ended up buying another! One for my outdoor cushions and pillows and one for the pool toys and floating devices. Very easy to put together. Sam's price was by far better than anyone else for these exact deck boxes. Highly recommend

I recommend the following: 1 - Use a power drill screwdriver with a No.2 Philips bit to assemble it. Set it for a torque (autostop) of "1" or "2" and drive a screw in until the drill reaches full torque and "tap-tap-taps." Then check the tightness with a hand-held Phillips screwdriver. If it is good and tight, keep that setting. If too loose, increase the torque to "3." You will be screwing in a lot of 1" black screws, and you want them all equally tight and fully seated. 2 - When the plastic sides and bottom are assembled, there will still be a small gap where the edges come together, maybe just enough to slip a piece of paper into. It's enough that maybe spiders, ants, etc. could make an entry. Also, it would allow driving rain, or a lawn sprinkler, to put water into the box and that could lead to mildew or mold. So I bought a tube of silicone sealant and ran a bead all around the edges on the inside, sealing the box watertight (I think it would float now). 3 - While the top has a decent overlap over the sides, I wanted a more weather/watertight/insect proof seal between the bottom box and the top lid. So I bought a roll of 1/2 inch wide, 1/8 inch thick self-adhesive backed foam insulation and applied it all around the top of the box. Now the lid closes and seals with no gap whatsoever. 4 - The floor of the box is not strong enough for firewood or other heavy items, unless you support the bottom -- under the center -- with shims. It's great for seat cushions, pool floaties, beach balls, etc. 5 - The lid likes to be lifted straight up, from the center, and lowered straight down. The hydraulic lift tubes that help lift the lid and hold it when it is up are located at the rear left and right edges of the box, and don't want to be twisted. 6 - Last comment: Position it where it will not be sitting in standing water.
