Love this sausage!!! I use it breakfast almost exclusively, either cut up into slices or crumbled up. I recently made queso and this was the perfect addition to my dish! Great flavor and easy to freeze and rethaw for prolonged life. Would most definitely buy again and again.

Jimmy Dean's sausage rolls have really been disappointing the last couple of years. They have allowed it to be really low grade sausage. It is very stringy, gritty, has tons of chunks of hard fat and pieces in it, and I spend more time picking through it while cooking it up, then actually eating it. We like to use it in lasagna, loaded baked beans, breakfast casseroles, and sloppy Joe's. I have actually not purchased any lately though due to how gross the last few tubes were.

I like Jimmy Dean's sausage because of the taste! My roommate uses it on a regular basis to make biscuits and gravy and I really like it! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the packaging makes it really hard to store if I don't use it all. 

This is a decent brand for breakfast sausage. I get the maple flavor to add to stuffing for holiday meals & everyone seems to love it. But I grabbed this one today. We have decided to make breakfast for dinner. I confess I’m not a huge sausage fan, but I imagine my eaters will be happy, :) Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Regular Sausage

I eat this every morning with my eggs, pancakes, oatmeal, or just as is. I like to make them into patties or broken up into eggs. This is my go to. So much better than bacon or links. Great way to get protein in the morning. Have purchased 50+ times over the years

Love Jimmy Dean brand sausage! My family has been purchasing Jimmy Dean for years it’s our go to brand when buying pork breakfast sausage. Affordable product and carried a most local grocery stores. The regular flavor is my all time favorite flavor of Jimmy Dean sausage. A must try if you haven’t.

I opened the pack of Jimmy Dean Regular fresh sausage and was surprised at what I found. Not sure what it was but thought maybe blood of an excessive amount of some type of seasoning. Not sure. Was forced to throw the sausage and other ingredients in the bowl that the sausage was touching.

I normally buy Neese's sausage- a local brand. This time I went shopping late in the weekend and they were sold out. I remembered hearing all the Jimmie Dean sausage commercials years ago, so I grabbed a tube and gave it a go. So I got home and the next morning I cut my usual "slab" and tossed it in the pan as always, on medium, and went about prepping my muffin and coffee. A scorched smell hit me, so curious to see what was going on, I pulled the lid off my sausage and flipped it over. It was burnt looking! I was baffled.. I grabbed the tube and looked at the ingredients, and there was my answer.. corn syrup and sugar! What? Why was this in my sausage? I read further.. and I saw there is also flour in it! What? Like a ready made pancake? A sausage pancake with syrup all ready added? I don't know what the intent is, but it was very disappointing... and back when sausage was sausage..

My sausage gravy just doesn't taste the same if I use another brand of sausage. While it's a bit steeper in price compared to store brands, the spices in this sausage are different so it's more flavorful. I buy this every week as we have breakfast for dinner on Saturday nights, and it's just not complete with biscuits and gravy.

We break this down into 4 - .5 lb packages, freeze & keep for whatever purpose. Just had it again on Monday with Penne, celery, diced tomatoes, sauce & black beans. Browned the sausage, boiled the Penne Then placed everything into the crock pot for a delicious meal.
