This used to be the best sausage sold in Southern California. I don't know what happened, but the recipe has changed. The sausage is crumbly, and it's dry. Something obviously has been removed from the recipe. I guess I'll now get my sausage shipped from down south where they know good sausage

Another great tasting product from Jimmy Dean. Package has marks for slicing patties. I have to freeze my roll a little before slicing, otherwise I squeeze it while slicing and patties look awful. Wish they would come up with a way to keep from squeezing while slicing for patties.

The sausage has great flavor- it is just a little too spicy for my families taste buds. It cooks up really nicely and works for just about every dish you could want it for. We prefer to use sausage for sausage gravy. I would prefer to not buy this brand if I had a choice.

I don’t like sausage but my husband loves Jimmy Dean sausage patties so we are always purchasing these so he will have sausage on hand to eat for breakfast with scrambled eggs. He prefers the spicy flavor of the Jimmy Dean sausages. I do not like sausage at all but I have tried these before and they weren’t bad and had a good flavor.. coming from someone who does not like sausage. My husband, however absolutely loves Jimmy Dean sausage.

I used to love the breakfast sausage patties. I noticed a few years ago that the taste and texture was off. I thought maybe I had picked up a different product than I'm used to. But after a couple different packages with the same flavorless dry texture, I looked into the reasons. Turned out that the recipe has changed. I won't be buying any more. I'll stick with good old fashioned bacon from now on. Please change the receipt back to the original.

Something is noticeably different as of this year with the regular style Jimmy dean roll of sausage. When cooking on medium low heat it will burn a layer of black char on a non stick pan prompting me to buy a new non stick skillet with the very same results. I've always eaten this product and have always cooked it the same way. I know covid 19 has hurt so many companies and makes me wonder if something has changed via quality and consistency of the recipe within the this new year of 2022. Hope the needed corrections are made to once again enjoy a pleasant home cooked breakfast!

Natural variety: Great taste! We'll go to an alternative store to buy it, since our closest one does not carry this one. I do have a question that needs answering. I have been advised to try a Low-FODMAP diet, and need to know (just Yes or No), whether the Natural variety contains either onion or garlic in any amount. Please respond. Thank you!

Every year for Thanksgiving we buy this sausage. It’s one of the best sausages because it has a better flavor compared to other brands. We use this sausage in our stuffing, along with carrots, onions, raisins and walnuts. It’s SUPER yummy and I look forward to eating it every year!

Love the hot sausage but have been experiencing quality consistency issues. Sometimes there are small white paper like scraps in the sausage. I have discarded two rolls due to safety concerns. I don’t want to give up the best tasting sausage but have safety concerns.

Growing up we were served JD sausage on a regular schedule. I would of had it every day if we could of afforded it. Not that it was high priced, we were poor. It was a treat so I remember the flavor and quality well. But I am sorry to say I will no longer be purchasing your product. The flavor and texture has dramatically changed. I'm sure you felt you needed to reduce costs but at what price? Once you return to the original let me know.
