I love the full flavor (the sage variety is very tasty too). I try to limit fat and Jimmy Dean sausage is so lean! I make a great breakfast casserole with this sausage, grits, eggs and cheddar cheese. Yummmm! I want to try making scotch eggs with it next!

This is a delicious sausage. Not too fatty! It is just too spicy for me. Burns the back of my throat for a while afterward. This is with it being in a country gravy (milk, flour, salt). No need to add extra pepper. I’m not sure what the spices are as they aren’t listed on the ingredients.

Wife purchased the 2 pound package "regular" Jimmy Dean sausage to make sausage balls. After cooking the sausage and letting cool, I tasted one. I was totally surprised!! These had no taste what so ever. No spices, no sage, no taste at all. I have never tasted a more bland sausage in my life. Very disappointed!!!

I like these a lot bc you can chop them up and put them in ur eggs plus they’re quick and easy to cook, also there really good w/biscuits and gravy, makes the gravy have that smoked taste which is good, I would definitely recommend this!Jimmy Dean Sage Premium Pork Sausage

My go to for sausage when I’m making homemade sausage gravy. We love to have biscuits and gravy as a family breakfast almost every Sunday and this is the sausage I’m always using for it. The flavor is delightful and it makes the perfect sausage gravy

This is the breakfast sausage that we compare all other sausages to. It browns really well- ie it doesn't look grey. It works well in gravies and as a regular side. One of the things I'm not wild about is the sugar and additives that it contains. Those are things we avoid in foods, but occasionally do make the exception.

It is a bit pricey but it is good sausage, so I don't mind paying a little more. I use sausage in so many recipes but my favorite stuff shells. My main reason to have sausage on hand at all times is that you never know when you get in the mood for some good old fashion biscuits and country sausage gravy.

My daughter is not a picky eater except for when it comes to breakfast sausage. She will eat no other brand except Jimmy Dean Regular Breakfast sausage. Once, when our grocery store ran out, I bought an alternate brand of sausage. My daughter took one bite, spit it out, and refused to eat it. Even though I hid the wrapper from her, she knew it wasn't her Jimmy Dean sausage. Even though she is now grown up, Jimmy Dean is the only brand we eat. It has become a tradition and a breakfast staple in our home. It's Jimmy Dean or nothing.

Another great tasting product from Jimmy Dean. Package has marks for slicing patties. I have to freeze my roll a little before slicing, otherwise I squeeze it while slicing and patties look awful. Wish they would come up with a way to keep from squeezing while slicing for patties.

This is the absolute best breakfast sausage on the market hands down. It has a fantastic, robust flavor and smells positively divine when it's cooking. It is for sure a bit pricier than some other brands but worth every single penny. I buy again and again
