This is the third time I have purchased your product where the fat to pork ratio, seasoning and color were off. After cutting into the roll package, the meat was bright red in color. When cooking, it rendered no fat and I had to add oil to the pan to prevent it from sticking. The taste was missing sage, thyme, pepper, and brown sugar with small amount of red pepper flake seasoning. I am not sure what's happening with the quality checks or if these packs are from the beginning or ending of a batch run. I probably will not buy it again.

How can you call this „premium sausage“ but use MSG and corn syrup? The packaging on the front misguides consumers by stating “no artificial preservatives, flavors, or colors“ but then there are other chemicals used if you read the full ingredients. Extremely disappointing and definitely not “perfect for breakfast or even dinner.“ Unhealthy for adults, worse for growing children.

Jimmy Dean had quality products and this sausage is no exception. It’s fairly priced at about the same costs as other sausages. We love to use this sausage in biscuits and gravy and soups like the one pictured. It’s a potato soup in a homemade bread bowl.

It’s a good product that I used to use with my mom to make this great sausage dip. As I got older, I find myself looking for healthier options. My fiancé and I did Whole30 so I look for products that don’t have sugar in them. This tastes delicious, but I’ve found healthier options.

Jimmy Dean sausage is delicious, but my question is, does the pork come from a Commercial Agriculture Farming Organization? I have learned that 2500 hogs are packed into barns and breathe the noxious toxic gasses that emit from the manure that drops to a pit below the hogs... this cannot produce healthy meat and also creates horrible conditions for the hogs.

Jimmy dean has been a staple in our house for decades. Live the flavor price point, consistency and the great taste. Cooks evenly and the ingredients are listed clearly. Packaging has become easier to open over the year. Breakfast in Sundays always include Jimmy Dean.

Sadly, I did not read the ingredient list in this product till after I ate it. This is a meat product filled with horrible unhealthy ingredients. Threw away the other half, after making it for a special breakfast over the holidays. I will never purchase this or any of the Jimmy Dean Products. They should reimburse me for this.

Jimmy Dean is like my uncle LOL..that how long i have been eatting this. I feel like if i eat another brand he will tell my momma LOL!! Good sausage in any flavor but sage ( sorry unc) I definitely recommend even though im PRETTY sure you have tried it!!

The sausage has great flavor- it is just a little too spicy for my families taste buds. It cooks up really nicely and works for just about every dish you could want it for. We prefer to use sausage for sausage gravy. I would prefer to not buy this brand if I had a choice.
