At breakfast today I cooked a roll of this family favorite. Nobody liked it, texture is off, flavor is off, dry chewy salty. Whatever was changed, please unchange it. We will try again in a year, until then other brands. And no, Covid not a factor, can smell and taste just fine. This is almost like you switched to using a fat-water emulsion instead of straight fat, today was a low slow skillet fry that would really show that difference. Half eaten slices on everyone’s plate today, versus the historical fight for the last one. Purchased at a Denver area King Soopers.

It’s a good product that I used to use with my mom to make this great sausage dip. As I got older, I find myself looking for healthier options. My fiancé and I did Whole30 so I look for products that don’t have sugar in them. This tastes delicious, but I’ve found healthier options.

This sausage had everything going for it. The taste, the texture, the all around feel... but it disappointed me yet again. When I cooked it, the sausage did not form a sausage shape! I unrolled the meat in the large package, but it fell apart! It appeared as if it had been ground up before I opened it. I was expecting one large sausage, just like my dear auntie Nana used to make me when I was a babe, but it fell apart, just like my hopes and dreams of ever eating Jimmy Dean's sausage ever again. I will no longer buy your products. Good day.

Jimmy Dean Sausage is usually priced a little higher than the others. However it’s Jimmy Dean so you know it will be good, every time. It makes a great gravy with just a little heavy whipping cream, cream cheese, salt, pepper and mixed peppers. Just pour over your eggs for a delicious meal. #BreakfastStaples

Jimmy Dean used to be less salty than I've had recently -- thus the 4-star review.  I've tried a couple others but this has been my favorite go-to breakfast sausage.  I'm always on the look out for others to try and keep going back to this brand.  Wish they'd cut back on the salt.  Other than that, fresh pork and seasoning taste.

A package from the freezer, bought Jun 2020, had less fat and more corn syrup. Hardly any fat came off during cooking, and the corn syrup or sugar blackened the pan. Taste was bland and I had to scrub the skillet like never before. Something changed at Jimmy Dean. Go back to your recipe of 2019 and I'll be back.

I love Jimmy Dean sausage and it is the only breakfast sausage I buy, however lately I don’t know if it’s me or the sausage, buy it seems too much salt or sodium is being added. I would appreciate if someone would do a taste test, or whatever is needed to find out if too much of whatever seasoning may be causing the saltiness. Thank you

I don’t like sausage but my husband loves Jimmy Dean sausage patties so we are always purchasing these so he will have sausage on hand to eat for breakfast with scrambled eggs. He prefers the spicy flavor of the Jimmy Dean sausages. I do not like sausage at all but I have tried these before and they weren’t bad and had a good flavor.. coming from someone who does not like sausage. My husband, however absolutely loves Jimmy Dean sausage.

This is the only brand of sausage I use when making my famous strata recipe. I can depend on this brand for flavor and quality. Stock up early around holidays - it goes fast! I've also discovered it freezes well so I can always have one ready to go in my freezer.

Jimmy Dean Sausage is the best breakfast sausage. The taste is so delicious and savory.  We make patties out of them and we also sprinkle them in our scrambled eggs like a omelet. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  Cook it with your family.
