I have eaten JD Sausage since its invent decades ago. Over the last 8 months regardless of where I buy it is salty. What happened? Why did the recipe change?? Sadly, I have stopped buying it but will try every few months and see if it is back to normal.

Buy this sausage every week. Made the usual sausage/gravy for biscuits. Took a bite, found a very small fragment. Put it on a napkin. Then two bites later, another one. Wanted to contact you privately but no private link- saved package and the two fragments. Quality control error? What else got ground up?

I’ve been using Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage for years. After today’s soufflé, I will never use this brand again. You have changed this product for the worse. It doesn’t cook the same, smell or taste the same. It destroyed the taste of my soufflé. I had to throw the soufflé away. It is bad enough that prices have gone up, but when you change quality and raise the price…shameful.

Jimmy Dean original sausage has been the only sausage i have bought for years, but it seems something has changed with the flavorlike there is more sage or something and maybe less of other spices that made it the best. please bring back the flavor we love.

Love Jimmy Dean pork sausage- main ingredient in the following recipe. You will be asked for the recipe-Never any left over! Sausage dip recipe: 1 roll Jimmy Dean pork sausage(the regular) 1 Philadelphia cream cheese- bar -8 oz. 1 can Rotele chopped tomatoes (mild or regular). I use only 1/3 can. Brown sausage in fry pan until no longer pink. Drain grease. (Very little grease to drain). Add cream cheese and tomatoes. Cook/stir until cheese melts. Serve warm with scoops. So easy to make. So delicious. Enjoy!

Something is noticeably different as of this year with the regular style Jimmy dean roll of sausage. When cooking on medium low heat it will burn a layer of black char on a non stick pan prompting me to buy a new non stick skillet with the very same results. I've always eaten this product and have always cooked it the same way. I know covid 19 has hurt so many companies and makes me wonder if something has changed via quality and consistency of the recipe within the this new year of 2022. Hope the needed corrections are made to once again enjoy a pleasant home cooked breakfast!

This used to be the best sausage sold in Southern California. I don't know what happened, but the recipe has changed. The sausage is crumbly, and it's dry. Something obviously has been removed from the recipe. I guess I'll now get my sausage shipped from down south where they know good sausage

I love Jimmy Dean sausage and wouldn't use any other brand. But I have a question about the ingredients used to make it. There have been recent claims that the Jimmy Dean sausage recipe has been modified to include protein from bugs and worms. Is that true?

I used to love Jimmy Dean's sausage -- I mean I wouldn't buy any other brand. But I am so disappointed to see that MSG - Mono Sodium Glutmate is an ingredient in this sausage. I have had to stop buying other brands of Sausage because of this and now it looks like my absolute favoirte and the best tasting Sausage has joined the "flavor for cheap" fad. Not many people understand what people who are Allergic to MSG suffer through -- but it's painful and really harmful to the body when we eat some. Please reconsider taking this harmful ingredient out of your Sausage as an ingredient so people like me can purchase your sausage again. Right now I am using the Aldi Brand Sausage for Breakfast Sausage - Disappointment in Jimmy Dean quality

Natural variety: Great taste! We'll go to an alternative store to buy it, since our closest one does not carry this one. I do have a question that needs answering. I have been advised to try a Low-FODMAP diet, and need to know (just Yes or No), whether the Natural variety contains either onion or garlic in any amount. Please respond. Thank you!
