It makes a great sausage pasta with homemade vodka sauce for dinner or slice into the perfect patty for breakfast ! Love having this in my crisper

Great in Wife's Lasagna But have a question about your Ingredients and did not see a place to ask a question. Your Ingredients list Spices and Spice Extractives. My question is do you use any seeds in your Ingredients like Fennel seeds or other seeds in your Spices and Spice Extractives? I need to know because my current health condition does not allow me to eat any seeds. Thank you

Jimmy Dean original sausage has been the only sausage i have bought for years, but it seems something has changed with the flavorlike there is more sage or something and maybe less of other spices that made it the best. please bring back the flavor we love.

I only use Jimmy Dean brand in all my recipes. Especially sausage stars.. All my co workers beg me to bring them . I have shared my recipe with a few , but they tried to skimp and not use the real Deal JIMMY DEAN. . Then ask why theirs are not as good. ? Other brands do not compare . Jimmy Dean hands down... quality,taste,texture. Do not except substitutions.

They replaced the fat with water and sugar. Sugar and corn syrup should never be used as fillers. unfortunately its in all our food products now. so I guess the only way to revers this is to stop buying those food products using these as fillers. It tastes great, but so does candy and other high processed foods. Lets get back to the good stuff.

This used to be the best sausage sold in Southern California. I don't know what happened, but the recipe has changed. The sausage is crumbly, and it's dry. Something obviously has been removed from the recipe. I guess I'll now get my sausage shipped from down south where they know good sausage

I should have read the ingredient list. We seldom ever eat store-bought meat. Our sausages are made in our kitchen. It didn't occur to me that corn syrup (for browning?) would be an ingredient. My blood sugar went up quickly. The sausage was tasty but I wno't be able to eat it again.

I grew up in Idaho but now live in Edmonton, Alberta. Luckily we go home to Idaho 2-4 times a year to get our haul of Jimmy Dean sausage for our weekly fix of sausage gravy. People used to tell me that it's not the sausage until I make it for them with Jimmy Dean's sausage. After one helping they all agree it is the best sausage ever for sausage gravy. So much that now I not only purchase for myself but my friends as well when I go home. Just a side note, this review is for the Regular Sausage but we have also used Sage, and hot. The consistency of the recipe for each type is what is the secret to the excellent end result! Keep of the good work! We love Jimmy Dean!!! Just wish we could get it in Edmonton!

i've been eating jimmiy dean sausage with my biscuits for over 20 years.As of the last dozen packages of sausage the flavor taste like an old boar hog.. I love your product i hope you address this problem, ps the maple flavor sausage also had this issue

We break this down into 4 - .5 lb packages, freeze & keep for whatever purpose. Just had it again on Monday with Penne, celery, diced tomatoes, sauce & black beans. Browned the sausage, boiled the Penne Then placed everything into the crock pot for a delicious meal.
