I bought two of these about a month ago...one for me and one for a wedding gift. It is extremely heavy empty and it would be unmanageable for me if it was full. I gave it away to someone who really likes it for stews, soup, chili and spaghetti sauce. It is well made and attractive. I wish it was a little lighter, so I could have kept it for myself.

I love the size color and weight the way it sits flat on the stove. I’m not happy with the coating. Stuff sticks to the bottom. I’m gonna keep using it to see if there’s something I can do to make it better. Half a dozen uses so far, stuff just sticks.

I ordered this lovely Tramontina Enameled Cast Iron 6 quart Dutch oven after seeing it in a Sam’s Club flyer. I’ve been wanting a La Crusette for a long time but thought it was quite expensive. My Dutch oven arrived quickly and in sufficient packaging. Iimmediately made a pot of chili. I fried up some flounder this morning. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase. I plan on investing in a pan in the near future.

I love this Dutch oven. I've been wanting the one that costs an arm and a leg and when I saw this for sale I did some research and learned this one is basically equal to that one except the cast iron in this one is thicker. It weighs a ton so be careful when washing but it is beautiful and serves many uses in the kitchen. the only thing is the gold nob basically discolors or loses its sheen after being in the oven. I got the denim with the gold nob.

The look of this Dutch oven mirrors Le Creuset and that’s it! My guess is , the mass production of this product relays the differences in obvious qualities. I chose the matte black with golden handle. First use and it is already scratched on the outside and on the inside with small fractures in the enamel from cooking white chicken chili. I do not recommend this product if u are looking for a long term product . I will invest in one from Le Crueuset as I have done several times in the past without regret!

I have put off buying a cast iron Dutch oven for years, seeing the familiar Tramontina label and knowing the quality it was no risk, it is soo great for lo ,slow cooking,creating soups and stews. Going from top of the stove to inside stove cooking. At first it seems a bit heavy, now after a few weeks I don’t even notice .6qts is just enough for a gathering of 6-10 or a week of soup for lunches and sharing at work.

After looking at quite a few dutch ovens this size, I was dumbfounded by the prices! When my local Sam's Club started to carry this I had to go check it out. I was pleasantly surprised that it had all the features of the crazy expensive ones- basting ridges on the lid, a great look, and heavy feel. I was expecting an expensive price point to go with it. I still can't believe it was under $50!!!

The Tramontina Dutch Oven is excellent. It is the second purchase of the same Tramontina Dutch Oven, and I gave this one as a gift to my son. I note that my first Tramontina Dutch Oven has developed a few chips in the outer colored enamel, but overall I'm pleased. It heats up well and maintains moisture well. It's my go-to when doing specialty dishes, stews, soups, rice dishes, and more.

Great Deal, I have wanted one of these for a while. I have been cooking away and I love it. I have the oyster color with the gold knob. Chili in my house has a whole new outlook

My tramontina still looks good inside and out, I have been using it mainly to bake bread around 425⁰F.
