These Florastor daily probiotic supplement capsules are a simple way to boost gut health by delivering 250mg of a beneficial probiotic bacteria strain per capsule. Dosage is 2 capsules once or twice per day. The capsules are on foil-sealed blister cards, BUT they are very easy to peel open, so it isn't a frustrating experience. The capsules are neither tiny nor huge - just an average size, and they are transparent. The manufacturer says that the supplement is resistant to 16 of the most common antibiotics, survives its trip through the stomach, and is vegan, gluten0free, and non-GMO. Do be advised that it does contain lactose, if you are lactose-intolerant. This makes me wonder exactly how the product is labeled as vegan, but I will leave that to someone else to untangle. I suppose in the wake of reports of a certain popular candy containing titanium dioxide, the label indicates that the supplement is 100% titanium dioxide free. Everyone's experience can vary. My gut balance was wrecked by harsh antibiotics 6 years ago, and for me probiotic supplements have done a lot to help me feel better on a day-to-day basis.

I am a registered nurse and pride myself with living a very healthy life style. A year ago I was traveling in the south and somewhere picked up C-diff!!!!! I did some research before I started taking the Florastor. I noticed a difference in how I felt right away. Less bloated and I definitely felt better overall.
