I prefer fresh corn as I was raised in the heart of the South with lots of fresh sweet corn readily available. But for an alternative to fresh produce it was good. Seasoned with salt, pepper, and butter, it compliments any meal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Del Monte Golden Sweet Corn!  I make a delicious chicken and corn chowder and canned corn is perfect when fresh corn is not in season.  It's affordable and healthy and available at my local grocery store.  I would highly recommend it if you are in the market for canned corn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason I rate this product a "3 Star" is because the expense per can isn't too different from other competing brands, the labeling isn't too creative in relation to others. The thing that does make this lab l "pop" is the brand name with the red background/boarder. The corn itself is sweet, crunchy and flavorful. There isn't a massive amount of liquid but just enough to coat the kernels. Drained or undrained, the corn still tastes great! I always recommend a touch/pinch of salt and sugar (:

Convenient, reasonably priced, and long lasting, canned corn is a good staple to keep in the pantry all of the time. I use it as a side dish, in casseroles, and in soups. Especially good to add to vegetable soup as a nice healthy and colorful addition to fresh ingredients.

I keep these on hand for a quick dinner side option. I'm going to be honest, I'm a farm girl at heart and grew up on the farm. This is nothing like corn right off the cob after being picked. With that said, this is a great and healthy option for my family and is quite tasty for the canned version.
