Del Monte is a name, and or company that I totally trust, it is like wearing designer clothes, when you purchase this brand name..I buy this brand all the time, #Free is always good too, but I recommend this product because it is like a guarantees that you will have a fresh and delicious side for your lunch or dinner..If you have not tried this corn then you are missing out! In all of my years, I have never found a better canned corn than Del Monte and I am being really serious. Libby's? No thanks! Green Giant? Meh! Generic? Don't even bother me with that!! All others seem like mush. Del Monte is always crisp and tasty. This is a staple we always have in our pantry.

I love just mixing it with rice and a little butter for lunch, adding to my homemade chili for an extra bit of crunch, and of course baked in a shepherds pie.
