The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I prefer to purchase corn that is Non-GMO verified and I feel confident that this is most likely GMO corn because it doesn't tell me anywhere on the can that it isn't.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Del Monte whole kernel sweet corn is very tasty and very versatile to use in many recipes or alone as a side dish with dinner. I use it in Mexican cornbread with jalapeños, cold corn salad in the summer, and make my own creamed style corn. I use 2 cans of corn drained, a tsp of salt, tsp of pepper, 2 tsp of granulated sugar. Put in medium saucepan with 1/4 cup flour and 1 cup heavy cream. Keep on low- medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and creamy. Add more cream if needed.

Great amount for the price and quality! Always a yummy addition to so many of my favorite home cooked meals! It also works great as a side dish on its own. I like the bright color and the maintained sweetness it has. I will always buy this brand of corn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smell of the corn in its liquid was off putting and when I tasted some without any seasoning I didn't enjoy the taste.  I ended up mixing it with fresh corn cut off the cob pan seared and seasoned with salt pepper and paprika, and mixed with butter and cilantro to make street corn and you couldn't tell the difference between the two types of corn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves Del Monte Fresh Cut vegetables.  They are easy to pop open for a quick side dish to a meal such as steak or chicken, or use in a casserole or dish.  I love using the whole kernel corn in my favorite dish - corn casserole.  The #delmonte corn gives such great flavor to the dish!  Its my go to when shopping!

It had a sweet taste but not overtly as if sweeteners have been added. I had it in salads, as one of my side vegetables with lunch and dinner. As fresh as canned vegetables can be. I was impressed by how firm they still were. Some canned and bagged vegetables can get quite soggy. I would purchase again.

Originally the recipe called for fresh corn off the cob but I found the canned corn to be a nice replacement for that as it had a really nice sweet flavor and a nice amount of texture.
