These are on a car that is not driven everyday. The same BFG's have been on this car since 1991. That's 20 years. The tires still look brand new. No cracks or signs of aging. This is one of BFG's best tires period. I would recommend these tires to everyone.

I put about 50,000 miles on these new tires that were rated at 80,000 and they are now riding like a log wagon and still have just under half the tread left. They used to ride very smooth and handled very well. I replaced the struts and shocks thinking that was why it was ridding rough but it was the tires. I also had to have the iner tie rods replaced which helped it go strait down the road but still rides very rough. I can't afford new tires so I have to put up with the very rough ride and hope it doesn't wear out anything else prematurely.

Great tires I love the retro look of the Radial T/A its the only muscle car tire in my opinion. The tire compliments just about any body style, and performs very well in the curves, and traction off the line. They have excellent treadwear even with the occasional smokey burnout

Muscle Car tire upgrade

I purchased a 1969 Ford Torino 351 GT with reproduction Polyglas tires on it. I'd forgotten how bad bias ply tires were - the car wandered all over the road, the tires squealed easily - it felt like there was a brick on each wheel. Traction in the rain was scary. I replaced them with 215/70-14 Radial T/A's - a good match for the original F70-14 size. Huge improvement - much better traction wet or dry, better grip in the corners and off the line. They even ride better. In my opinion, installing these tires is the best single thing you can do to improve the handling of an older muscle car. A+. Only drawback is you have to change the old "bias ply" front end alignment settings to get the best handling from these radial tires.

I have run these tire for years, on my Toyotas and now on my Fords. Mostly on the highway but all of my trucks are 4x4s so occasionaly I will go off-road. There are better off-road tires, but since the largest percentage of my driving is highway these are the better choice for me.

I have T/A Radials on the Charger, the Cobra and the Nissan Truck. They grip great in a straight line and hold well in corners. They are priced right and I have always liked the raised white letter look. I only wish they were still available in 205/60 - 13's so I could get a set for the GT6.

Are You Kidding?

Are You Kidding ? You cannot own and drive Real Muscle Cars with any other tire , I have had some version of the T/A on at least 30 cars since 1977. I wouldn't roll any other way. the look, the ride and the wet traction (for those that drive em year round)is tough to beat. If you got one drive it!

The T/A's are quiet and look great on my 2001 Honda Prelude. They provide excellent response and ride. They are providing excellent tire wear. I have 15,000 miles one the set and just had them rotated. The rear tires show no signs of wear and the front show minimal signs of wear. I would buy again.

Browning letters

To all you proud owners of the raised white letter T/A radial, don't despair. I had a set of 275/60/15's on my Silverado and kept them as white as the Arctic White paint. It's called an S.O.S. scouring pad. Wet one and the letters, give them a brisk scrubbing, rinse off soap residue and they are WHITE again. IT WORKS.
