Excellent source of outside play

I purchased this for my three children - in an attempt to get them to play outside more often and not be inside children. My childrens ages are 11, 5 and 3. The age limit states up to 10 years but is WELL big enough and sturdy enough to hold a larger child and the weigvht limit is 300 pounds. So all in all this dome can and will handle multiple children on it at once. The heigh is about 5 feet but our is slightly higher (Which is fine) and my 3 year old has no problems climbing on it at all. The directions are slightly confusing so it would be good to read the entire book before attempting to put together. Grammer is slightly off and can cause you to put things together and have to take apart. But it wopuld not stop me from purchasing it. All in all it took two people 4 hours to put together.

BEST OUTDOOR PLAY ITEM EVER!!!

if you are looking for a back yard play item for your kids, this is the best. Forget the swing set and slide. They are so limiting age wise and get boring!!! 3 years to about 12 years old will love this piece. They climb, sit on top of, play inside of (you can put a sheet over it and make a cave or club house. I had one at my state licensed daycare center years ago and saw first hand how great a toy it was So, when I recently needed to get something for my grand children, ages 1, 2.5 and 4, I knew this was what to get. I was correct. the two older children started climbing at once. The 1 year old would hold on to the lower bar and "hang". Cousins visited, ages 8 and 11 and they were all over it. Putting it together is the hard part. Takes 2 people and about 2-3 hours. Worth it! The free shipping to your door step can't be beat. You can easily mover it to mow under it. Seriously, the best piece of equipment ever!!

Sturdy alternative to cheap swingsets.. We hope.

Our kids are 10, 7, and 3 and after being frustrated by poor quality on a supposed top brand expensive wooden playset, we saw the good reviews on this and decided to try it. Their favorite part of the previous set had been the monkey bars. Assembly took 2 men 2 1/2 hours. The instructions were a big help. The kids are thrilled with it. The youngest hasn't quite figured out how to climb to the top, which is just fine, but that will happen soon enough. My 150 lb self can climb it, it seems very sturdy.

Another great addition to our Lifetime backyard

After purchasing the earthtone swing set and Adventure Tower Deluxe, we had to get this awesome climbing dome. I mean, come on...it matches! Plus, our kids love it and it gives them one more fun thing to do outside instead of making bigger messes in our house.

Great Outdoor Climber

I bought this for my twin 4 year old grand kids and they love it. It is just the right size for them to use. It took about 2 and 1/2 hours for my daughter and I to put together - directions were just a little confusing - but it really was pretty easy.. I would recommend this for anyone with little kids who like to climb.

My kids love it but hard to put together

My kids love the dome and it's VERY sturdy!! The only issue was assembly! We were short a few nuts and had to omit them. The instructions are very vague and hard to follow. We ended up looking at the picture on the box and putting it together our own way. If you buy this, good luck! Deep breaths and take your time lol

Very sturdy. looks very substantial

This piece of equipment is very professional and strong. There is no fear in having multiple children (or even an adult or two) climbing it. It is very sturdy. It is also easy to move if you still want to be able to mow the grass beneath it or don't necessarily want to keep it in one place. It also looks great. It blends in and is not an eyesore due to the natural coloring.

Very sturdy

I have to admit, the climber is built better than I thought it would be. Not sure about the six hundred pound limit, but I weigh 300 and it held me easily when I tested it. It took me and my 10 year old about 1 1/2 hours to put together following the directions. I did not follow the directions when assembling the green five arm pieces. It said to tighten them, I left them barely loose. Then after everything was assembled, lifted the climber up to align it, then tightened all the bolts. I read a review that said the climber was hard to move around for mowing. If you move it by lifting one side up and drag it, I do not think it will last very long. If you get inside and pick it up by pushing up in the top center, I think this climber will last for a very long time.

Makes a great hut

I meant for my kids to use this as a climbing aparatus but it has a tarp over it most days and makes for a great fort! The boys have lots of fun in their boys only club house. The hand grips are great and also have multiple uses, such as strapping bungee cords across to hold hostages during battles, or hanging "no girls allowed" signs. This turned out to be a great investment both for me (keeps them busy for long stretches of time) and for my kids.

Super Purchase

Was a little rough to put together but the steel is powder coated to keep from getting too warm. It is very sturdy and the kiddos can climb, swing, do flips etc. You can move it around on the grass so no wear spots and easy mowing. Put a sprinkler under on a warm day and watch the fun. Sturdy enough for me to be able to play as well. Super purchase!!
