Excellent customer service

We have had the dome climber for several years and my son loves it. Recently, a branch fell on it during a bad storm so I contacted the company requesting a replacement strut to replace the broken one. They sent it free of charge. That’s good customer service!

Great Outdoor Climber

I bought this for my twin 4 year old grand kids and they love it. It is just the right size for them to use. It took about 2 and 1/2 hours for my daughter and I to put together - directions were just a little confusing - but it really was pretty easy.. I would recommend this for anyone with little kids who like to climb.

Rusts easily

This is a cool piece to add to backyard playground. My biggest complaint is that after only about a year having it, the beige color started to rust. Now after a couple years, it's fully rusting on just that color it seems. I'm thinking about spray painting the whole thing, but for a LIFETIME product, I don't feel like I should have to do this. Disappointed.

The kids LOVE it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this just under a month and the kids can’t stay off of it. I have two boys who love to climb so they are constantly all over it. They use it for climbing, pretend it’s a base or house, decorate it, or just want to eat their lunch under it. My suggestion is to read the instructions even the print at the bottom. We put it together and had to undo it a couple times because we missed an instruction. You have to assemble the first shape several times and then put all those together to make the dome.

Kids love it!

Well designed. Sturdy. Good price. HOWEVER, the directions need to be redone. All the pieces are marked well but the directions and order of assembly are confusing. The directions say 2 people are needed to assemble it. Yes, or maybe 3 or 4. But remember to pray for wisdom as you proceed and even though I'm a 116 # 73 year old lady I put it together by myself, using lawn chairs etc. to help me brace it as I went along. It really is a good bargain and the grandkids love it!

My daughter spends hours on it

My daughter discovered this climber at a friends house. She pretty much spent the entire party dangling and climbing. Before I knew it the climber was purchased and set up on our lawn where it continues to be climbed upon. It's now the go to toy for both kids (5 and 2). I would not hesitate to recommend This and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Great product w/ a few minor inconsistencies

I primarily purchased this for my 3-year-old, but my older son who just turned 11 has been on it, while my 3-year-old has shown no interest. I am not sure why as he LOVES to climb and swing from every object possible? After assembling the dome climber, I realized it is a pretty good size. It will probably be a while before he can actually climb onto the first bar off the ground. We have had it assembled for less than a week, so I am hoping he will warm up soon. We even put his kiddie pool in the middle underneath today to coax him into exploration. We had zero success with that manipulative move. It is still a GREAT product and whether or not he uses it now, we are pretty certain he will come to love it and play on it for many years to come. The structure is pretty sturdy after assembly and easy to move with a nice added feature of joint bolt covers that double as a climbing fob. There were some technical inconsistencies with this product: instructions, maximum weight, and recommended ages. INSTRUCTIONS: 3 on a scale of 1-10. It is almost easier to figure it out than try to view the illustrations. The gray-scale coloring is inverted on the instructions with the hunter green bars in light shades and the light brown (beige) bars illustrated in the darker shades. This made it confusing when putting the bars together. There were also a few places that were not clear. The instructions do not mention from Step 1 that you will be screwing and unscrewing the nuts SEVERAL times in the main sections. Wal-Mart listing: maximum weight = 600 Product maximum weight listed= 400 (200 pounds off - BIG difference) Wal-Mart recommended ages listed = (3-10) Product box recommended ages = (4-11)

Kids love it

I bought this in November last year. My grandkids love it and I think it has made them stronger. It is built so strong you can try to shake it but it does not move at all. I got the earth tone one which looks great. I would have definitely rated it a 5 but 2 of all 4 different bars have rusted after about 1 - 2 months. We live in FL and it wasn't during rainy season. None of the rest have rusted.

Backyard fun!

My husband put this together himself in about 3-4 hours. No big deal. I had to hold a piece here or there, but manageable. The kids love it and my oldest is 6. They use it as a prop in play too (ie. put a blanket over it and use as a fort). It's a great alternative piece of play equipment. Easy to move with two people to cut the grass.

Yippee

We could hardly keep the kids off of it to get it together. My son and I built it in about 2 hours. It's not difficult. You just need extra hands to hold the pieces while the other person inserts the bolts. A third person would make it go faster. The only problem was when old Granny over tightened a bolt and broke it off. We were able to get a replacement at the hardware store. It would be nice if an extra came with it, just in case. I was concerned that the 3 year old wouldn't be big enough to reach the bars but she scaled it like a monkey on the first try. Her 5 year old sister had a little trouble because her shoes were slippery and she is not a monkey. Their Daddy mastered it readily and it held the big guy just fine. We love it.
