Awesome surprise

Talk about bringing back childhood memories! This dome rocks! It's big enough for our 9 year old to play on and fun enough for our 4 year old to explore and grow with. The kids have had a blast on it. Of course we had to give some instructions on how falling off WILL hurt but otherwise this item has exceeded our expectations.

Backyard fun!

My husband put this together himself in about 3-4 hours. No big deal. I had to hold a piece here or there, but manageable. The kids love it and my oldest is 6. They use it as a prop in play too (ie. put a blanket over it and use as a fort). It's a great alternative piece of play equipment. Easy to move with two people to cut the grass.

A hit!

By Worlds Greatest Mom from Minnesota on 5/27/2009 Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. My 2 children LOVE the dome and play on it everyday. It is very sturdy, directions were easy to follow and my kids like having something that no one else has. I will buy from the company again!

Well worth the price.

This toy is very well made. I can see it lasting years. I was surprised when it was delivered and the box weighed 100+ pounds. I can't believe they offer free shipping on this product. I'm not sure why so many people reviewed that the directions were hard to follow. They were very simple directions and all of the pieces are marked. My husband put it together in about 2 hours using a rachet wrench, rachet, and a drill with an allen bit. (While tripping over 4 excited kids) It's a lot easier to assemble if you don't tighten any of the joints down all the way until the end. I posted pictures on Facebook and everyone wants to know where we bought it! This piece perfectly completed the back yard park we were going for. The kids love it!

GREAT!!!

My kids LOVE this!!! They are 7 & 10 and it is a perfect fit. I was worried that it wouldn't be a good size for my 10 year old, seeing the recommended age, but it is perfect. I was glad that I read the reviews before I bought it, as it helped me with the assembling of it. DO NOT tighten completely before you finish, as you have to keep adding pieces. It took me 2 hours to put together, myself and my 2 kids. It is perfect for them as they are really to big for the little slides and swings that come with a swing set. Would definately recommend!!!

Yippee

We could hardly keep the kids off of it to get it together. My son and I built it in about 2 hours. It's not difficult. You just need extra hands to hold the pieces while the other person inserts the bolts. A third person would make it go faster. The only problem was when old Granny over tightened a bolt and broke it off. We were able to get a replacement at the hardware store. It would be nice if an extra came with it, just in case. I was concerned that the 3 year old wouldn't be big enough to reach the bars but she scaled it like a monkey on the first try. Her 5 year old sister had a little trouble because her shoes were slippery and she is not a monkey. Their Daddy mastered it readily and it held the big guy just fine. We love it.

Hours of fun

When our daughter purchased her own home - we surprised our grandchildren with this. They have enjoyed climbing on our geo-dome whenever they come visit. They were very excited to get one of their own. It is easy to put together, and holds up well. We have owned ours for over 5 years. I foresee many years of fun for all our grandchildren. We own the red / blue one and we purchased the Earthtone one for my daughters house.

Great Quality & we love love love it!

The kids love to play on this. The intersection hand holds make it very safe and easy for them to use. It's a great addition to our playground for the grandkids. The quality is terrific. We purchased the A-Frame playground and Airplane teeter totter because they will last a "lifetime".

Makes a great hut

I meant for my kids to use this as a climbing aparatus but it has a tarp over it most days and makes for a great fort! The boys have lots of fun in their boys only club house. The hand grips are great and also have multiple uses, such as strapping bungee cords across to hold hostages during battles, or hanging "no girls allowed" signs. This turned out to be a great investment both for me (keeps them busy for long stretches of time) and for my kids.

Super Purchase

Was a little rough to put together but the steel is powder coated to keep from getting too warm. It is very sturdy and the kiddos can climb, swing, do flips etc. You can move it around on the grass so no wear spots and easy mowing. Put a sprinkler under on a warm day and watch the fun. Sturdy enough for me to be able to play as well. Super purchase!!
