Ridiculous Packaging

The bread taste is delicious, but the packaging is ridiculous. It used to be packed in a convenient paper bag, but now it’s packed in a plastic bag that always has multiple small holes! That is extremely unsanitary!! Please pack the bread in a paper bag!!

We’re so glad you like the taste of our ciabatta baguette, fauzziaa8, and we appreciate your feedback on the packaging. The holes you are seeing are micro-perforations designed to provide the appropriate amounts of air and moisture to transfer through the bag. This allows us to keep the baguette’s perfect outer “crusty” consistency and the delicious middle soft and moist. Without those micro-perforations, moisture would be trapped in the bag and the crust would lose its crispy texture. The new packaging is made from food-grade materials, are non-toxic and suitable for packaging food without imparting any unwanted taste, odor, other harmful substances.

This bread, and the similar rolls, are excellent. My family frequently ate french bread with soup at dinner, but we have switched over to this. Not only is it delicious, but leftovers keep well, unlike french bread.
