We bought this to replace 20 year old kitchenaid appliances. The footprint is a little larger than expected but it’s spacious on the inside. The ice makers are great. The craft ice is really good. It’s not as fingerprint proof as it claims and that’s the reason for only four stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator several weeks ago and it works as advertised. A slightly smaller footprint than our previous one, but with the same capacity. The glass door is handy, and is a fingerprint grabber, but that was expected.

Just under a year and there is a flaw inthe door wiring where upon opening and closing eventually the wire will wear through. This caused the wire to arc on the metal hinge frying the main board. This is covered under warranty however the process is extremelyt slow. We have escalated to Presidential team but nothing can be done until after 30 days! What a joke. We are over 14 days already with out a working refrigerator and stuck. DO NOT BUY LG PROUDCTS.

We have bought this fridge for 6 months and struggled with it for 3 months since summer started. We were not able to open the freezer door. There were lots of ice buildup. And Now it doesn’t make ice in this hot summer with 100 degrees. We have to go to store to buy packs of ice

I really love the door where you can put things in the front of the fridge. The ice makers are horrible and useless. I was excited about the big balls of ice, but that only lasted a few months then the bucket that holds the ice froze over and there was just sheets of ice. We defrosted the area and it did not make a difference back to sheets of ice. The ice maker in the door is not any better. Even with not using the door ice maker that much it completely stopped working. Got an LG part, first delivery the part was damaged. The second delivery the part did not work. To pay this much for a fridge and the ice makers to be substandard is disappointing. The ice makers are not sturdy and broke with really not a lot of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within a year of owning both ice makers, they broke, and now that they are out of warranty, we are left with just one ice maker. Unfortunately, it doesn't produce enough ice, so we also have a countertop ice maker. The countertop model makes just enough ice to fill the kids' water bottles and my husband's, and then it runs out.

The new LG fridge came with a light off under right door first, then the ice was never made after 48 hours, then the door alarm kept beeping so we had to plug out the power. The fridge has been returned, we would never use LG again and I will tell everyone I know about this story. So terrible product that made us have 2 weeks without fridge to use!
