I think because its been around so long, its one of those smells that remind me of childhood. I smell Pine Sol and i KNOW its clean! On a different note when I smell Pine Sol on my husband when I get home from work, I know he's been cleaning and he gets extra brownie points with me. =)

Everyone that comes through the door says that they know what I have been doing because the house smells so nice. Pine Sol also reminds me of my childhood as this is what my MOther would mop and clean with.

We always knew that the floors would be really clean and smell great. Thirty years later, I am still using Pine-sol in my home, with my kids. I imagine my kids know that the house is clean when they smell the familiar Pine-sol scent. I will never use another floor cleaner. I am a Pine-sol customer for life.

It smelled amazing the effectiveness it had for cleaning and disinfecting and not to mention the original packaging. I absolutely loved a group as a kid using this and the only difference now is it’s a bit thicker just because it is concentrated.

I used up an old bottle of original Pine Sol the other day and asked my husband to buy more while he was running errands. Little did I know the formula has changed ... and unfortunately, not for the better. The new scent smells nothing like pine. It has a fragrance more like cheap men's cologne or citronella that immediately resulted in a headache and nausea. I had to open a window and walk outside to keep from getting sick. I'd try one of the other fragrances but prefer the clean smell of natural pine. In addition, the others do not appear to have the same antibacterial qualities. If pine oil is too expensive, please seek other sources ... and/or increase the price ... and/or find a way to make one of the other popular scents antibacterial. Sorry, but the "new" Pine Sol is truly awful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last week my husband cleaned and organized the garage, which was needed terribly. And the painted cement floor was just filthy. I saw it as an excellent opportunity to put my fresh bottle of Pine-Sol to use. I had never used Pine-Sol before, but I had always wanted to, especially because I so enjoy the smell of pine. I mixed the Pine-Sol with warm water in a 5-gallon bucket, following the mixing instructions on the bottle. Using a foam head scrubbing mop, I took to cleaning the grungy garage floor, section by section. I was rather astonished at how quickly the cleaning solution went to work dissolving the dirt and stuck on grime on first contact. And with minimal effort, and just a few mop passes, the floor progressively turned from a dirty brown color to a the light grayish blue color that was hidden beneath the years of soil. And the scent of pine has totally transformed my garage, masking the smells that usually dominate (gas cans, lawn mower grass, trash cans, etc). My garage smells so pleasant now and I can walk into the garage in my bare feet. I love it. I plan on using Pine-Sol to mop my bathroom floors next. I'm really excited about this product. And I can't believe I waited so long to try it. I truly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am grand father of 5 and i have been using original pine since i was a little boy.It not only smells clean but it get all the germs off my appliances and floor clean.It is hard to try one of the neww since buti will pry myself towards it.

I like most others have grown up with that one and only pine sol scent. My grandmother and mother have used this always to clean. That smell always meant the house was cleaned and nothing else matches that clean smell. I am so sad to say that the new scent is to much of a strong smell for me to continue to use. As one of the other reviewer stated that it is like a tradition that we have passed on to our daughters and now it's no longer available. Please bring back that heavenly clean original scent.
