I have used Pin-Sol for decades, including as a detergent booster in the laundry. For our family, pine oil was the fragrance of clean. Unfortunately, the new scent is a pungent, persistent and singularly unpleasant “perfumey” smell. Too bad it is as long-lasting as claimed; my clean sheets reeked for several days. I won’t be buying that again.

Pour some in your trash cans mix with hot water and let soak for a little while. Pine-Sol is also excellent for wiping counter tops, door knobs in a public office. I use at home and in the office. Love it!!!

Back then when you said Pine Sol there was a single distinctive scent that immediately hit your brain. That pine fresh scent. We knew Mom meant business when we walked in the house and smelled the Pine Sol!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a loyal Pinesol user but I don't care for the scent of it and whatever extracts they use in the lavender scented version I'm allergic to. I absolutely loves the fresh scent of the blue colored Pinesol and am still hoping they'll bring it back or come out with a new floral or rain fresh scent.

Overall just the smell the house smells cleaner when I use the original pinesol
