Never owned one with the built in water and ice distributor. we love it.. will never buy a normal refrigerator again. It even let's me know when I need to change air filter and water cartridge. The wrong air filter cover was on the refrigerator when I went to change the air filter. I contacted LG and they shipped me the cover no charge.

This is our second LG fridge. Love both, this one even more. So spacious inside. Crispers and deli tray hold tons! Filters so easy to replace. Ice makers make perfect cubes and crushed ice. Freezer is a perfect size. Everything is within easy reach throughout. Lights and programmable sounds so fun. This is a great appliance, like all LG products.

We bought this refrigerator in November 2024. We love it. VERY spacious with great lighting (almost calming) inside. Only a couple of negatives, and they are minor "1st world" problems. 1) I had a little trouble adjusting the level of the top shelves. 2) My wife thinks the water/ice dispenser could be a bit better. (I don't use it as much as her, and I think she just has to get used to it;) My only regret is to not have had this fridge about 10 years ago for my kids' athletic events. This thing makes a ridiculous amount of ice in my opinion! I actually counted them----300 cubes...and they aren't small. I would recommend this fridge to anyone, but at 26 cubic feet, it won't fit in everyone's kitchen...

Have had this model for just under a year. So far it works well, does everything it is supposed to do. One negative, the inside of the left hand door is not as deep as the picture shows. Little jars or flat jars or containers are all that will fit, that’s ok. My biggest complaint is the door alarm. Never had a fridge that you could not regulate this feature. It has one setting, LOUD. Big mistake on LG’s part. If left open for more than a minute it starts in dinging and will not stop until door is closed. Every other feature works as it should, so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this refrigerator for about two weeks, and love it! We have model LRFXC2606S. The controls are easy to understand. The door ice maker makes great cubes and crushed ice. The design with the ice maker built into the door means that there are full width shelves in the entire refrigerator compartment. It also provides better access to the back of the ice maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The frig works great, but I am having the same problem that many report ... the water that comes out of the dispenser tastes vile ... plasticy and chlorinish. Have followed all recommendations per LG for this issue.

We built a new home last year. We purchased all LG appliances. Fridge, Stove, Dishwasher, Washer, Dryer. LGs one year manufacturer warranty expired June this year. August the same year, the ice maker in the fridge does not work (we replaced), the igniter in the stove gave out (we replaced but should be noted that the wire was burnt - which is probably a design flaw with the Thin Q propane stove igniter and burner at the back), the washer leaks from the bottom if I do 2 loads back to back! Not good enough LG.

Love the split drawers for separating fruits and vegetables! The additional ice maker is a great feature. The counter depth is perfect for my kitchen! I just wish the meat and cheese drawer was also split, so I would only have to open 1 door to get at certain items.

I had to replace my refrigerator because of too many issues with the ice maker and water dispencer. To my surprise, the LG is a more spacious counter depth refrigerator compare to my previous one. This refrigerator has excellent review as per store where I purchased and I agree with their reviews. It is definitely a great brand to have because I can rely on it. Thank you!
