[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never had a “proper” knife block set before. After a very long search and reading lots of reviews, decided to finally buy a set. Love the look and feel of this one. Hopefully they will hold up with the use of our big family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just opened, so can’t comment on longevity or how the self sharpening works. Only downside so far is that the knives aren’t labeled, and I’m no knife expert, so I don’t necessarily know I have all the knives in the right spot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a chef but I love to cook for my family of 5, + extras most days. After years of making do with cheap knives I finally had enough. With a full house, + extras, more than 6 steak knives was a must. This set has everything I will ever need including my favorite, the santoku. I had really underestimated the importance of having good quality, sharp knives and these have brought my cooking enthusiasm back. A full tang and well formed handle make them so comfortable and easy to use and they look great when not in use too. The self sharpening block was a must for me and has not disappointed. I feel like I paid a great price for an exceptional knife set and have recommended them to several friends and coworkers already. My only complaint is that the block is SO long. At a whopping 15-3/8" deep it takes up a lot of real estate in the kitchen. Though not a deal breaker for me I can see that it would be for some. The longest knives in the set are the chef's and carving knives, which rest 8-1/2" inside the block. A good 5" could be cut off vertically from the back of the block to make it easily placeable in more households.

They're so sharp, I actually accidentally cut my thumb and didn't even feel it. They're that sharp! And this set has self sharpening, amazing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 100% thrilled with my decision to purchase these incredible knives. They are even more fantastic than I imagined. I’ve never had knives of this quality. They are the sharpest knives I’ve ever owned. The self-sharpening knife block is as beautiful as the knives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have amassed a fair collection of knives for our kitchen ove the years. But, with this set we finally have a knife for every need and they all come from a MATCHING set. The blades are all exceptionally sharp and the self-sharpening block helps maintaining these knives significantly easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this for a Christmas present. Love the idea that is self sharpens. hate a dull knife. Have used a couple of knives so far and they are amazingly sharp. I like to cook and a good knife is important.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First glance the knives are well crafted and we love the self sharpening wood block! I am the chef of the house so having more options with the my knives is great. Can’t wait to break these bad boys in and start cooking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received and original set of these knives over 10 years ago as a wedding present! They are my favorite! Over the years pieces of the set have gone missing or were borrowed so I finally bought a new set, this time with the self sharpening block! I LOVE these knives and was SO happy to receive my new set!
