Over the years pieces of the set have gone missing or were borrowed so I finally bought a new set, this time with the self sharpening block! I LOVE these knives and was SO happy to receive my new set!

They slice / cut perfectly! Ever time you use them they are sharpened and ready to go! I highly recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been telling my husband for the longest that we needed to upgrade our kitchen set of knives, and he understood the assignment and surprised me with this beautiful set 20 pieces set for Christmas, when I picked up the box I was like what it is in here lord it's heavy, not that I was mad about it, when I open the box and saw my beautiful knives, yes...I got so excited they are very sharp so I know I have to keep them very far away from my child and I have to be extra careful when I use them. I love that they bring a little plastic piece in each tip of every single knife to make sure you don't cut yourself in the process of unpacking them, and an extra plus is the self sharpening which comes very handy. Everyone loves my knives and I love them more, can't wait to cook many meals with them.

The knives are very sharp and I like how the block identifies what knife goes where. I had one Henckels knife that I purchased with Henckels scissors and really liked the quality. I would highly recommend Henckels 20-pc. Self Sharpening Block set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second set of Henckles i have owned. I still have the other set also. But it was time for a new block. The built-in sharpeners much easier to use than the hand held sharpening steel in my old set.

Having used much cheaper knives the past few years the weight and balance are welcome. I used to cook professionally and these knives will allow me to regain some skills I have lost.

If you do not like sharpening your knives, you now have a solution! Great value for this block and the knives included, which are some of the most used knives in the kitchen. Added bonus are the steak knives, if you have some, great addition when you need extra, and if you don't have steak knives, they are great to have! Best of all, you never need to sharpen your knives again.
