I have wanted to try a Marie Callender's chicken pot pie for years and finally decide to try it. I am so disappointed. The chicken was pressed mush and there were so few veges I can count them on one hand. It should be advertised as fake chicken never tender white-meat chicken. Yuck

A good sale price prompted me to purchase these. I wasn't expecting much, at that price. I cooked one in my toaster oven @400° for 50 minutes, per the instructions. So Good! Not too much food, either, and they are nice and easy on my fussy tummy. Lots of chicken inside, too, which surprised me, honestly! I recommend to anyone using the "Conventional Oven" method, as I did, to take an extra minute to wrap the edges with a small crimped foil strip, as recommended on the box itself. The extra trouble results in a perfect crust. It's been very convenient, when it's evening, to have these available to cook for myself, while watching the news. Now, I'm out of them! 🥺 I'll definitely be making another "Sam's Run" to restock, before the sale expires! When the sale expires, though, I will still be buying them, for sure. 👍

Would it be a possibility to make a vegetable pot pie??? I love your pies, but cannot handle eating the meat. I feed it to the dog. If it could have the gravy from the meat, but not the meat, and Potatoes, carrots and peas, but no mushrooms, I would buy a lot of them. If you could help, I would sure appreciate it. Thank You

The recipe has been changed and not for the better. They used to be fairly good but no longer they are all crust with very few vegetables a few small pieces of chicken and very little gravy. You did have a good product and I did not mind paying more for them. But doubt we will ever buy them again.

16 OZ Chicken pie is 10 OZ Crust and very little filling. Filling has very little sauce/gravy too dry! Second time I purchased this item in 3 months same problems. Never again. number on this box is 5014 3291 00 P2 1946 P45. best if used by April 11 2015. I say best if left in store!

These pot pies are so good! The crust is light and flaky and browns even in the microwave. Large chunks of white meat chicken in a light and creamy gravy with carrots and peas. Standing at the stove cooking is difficult for me, so this is a great and easy meal. I always have a box of these in my freezer.

Too watery, too oniony, too many peas that gave the broth a pea taste, at least a dozen thickly sliced carrot pieces with strange texture, crunchy celery, soggy dumpling like bottom. The chicken was good and tender but not near as many as in the photo and too small cut. The pastry top was good but not great. Hubby liked it, though. I would not repurchase for myself. I remember it tasting better in the past.

Sorry I cannot give your pie an excellent rating any more because more often than not the top crust comes out soggy and that is a big disappointment. I buy an 8-pack of pies so as to have them handy for a quick meal for a late dinner. I too think you need to go back to the old style box for microwaving and the problem would be solved!

Sorry to send this 3 times, this is the one to read. My rating of one star and not recommended has only to do with microwaving the pie. We have always preferred it cooked in the oven over the microwave, but prior to the change in packaging we could cook it in the microwave and have a half decent pot pie. Now the crust doesn't get crispy and the pie crust sticks to the pie tin and you can't get it out without destroying the pie. That didn't used to happen. Please encourage your team to go back to the old style carton it worked. When it works why change it.

Could you reduce the amount of sodium in the Chicken Pot Pies. I live alone and have a chronic illness. These are so convenient to prepare. My doctor recently told me to reduce the amount of sodium in my diet. You could cut back and anyone who wanted more could add.
