When I want to 'splurge' for dinner during the week, I have one of these. The flavor and crust are wonderful. I do agree that it would be nice if there were a few more vegetables in it. And the cubes of chicken are not the best texture. I cook it in a microwave a little bit longer than stated so that the crust gets golden brown.

I read LOTS of negative reviews about this product (just AFTER I bought it *lol*) . . . but I just tried it and I thought it was very good. The negative comments seemed to be in 2012. Perhaps there was a lapse in quality that year? I don't know. I bought this just last week (november 2013). I followed the directions exactly: 400F oven for 62 minutes, let rest 5 minutes, then dumped onto plate. I thought there was plenty of chicken, veggies, etc.etc. the crust was fine, and it tasted great to me! I would definitely buy this product again. Once more, I suggest that there MAY have been a QC problem in 2012, but I did not have any issues with this product . . . Thanks again, Jersey Joe :-)

Have previously purchased Chicken Pot Pie by "case" at warehouse club locations and have enjoyed them. Recently purchased one at local store and it was not good. Very thick, card board tasting crust and little flavor to contents. This was the package numbering: 5014 4120 00P1 12:38 P45 Best if used by: Oct 22 2015

I am a cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy. It is difficult for me to prepare meals. A friend suggested the chicken pot pies and it sounded really good. I've been eating one every night for the last two months. They microwave beautifully and taste great. Because it's quick & easy, I can get the calories I need before the chemicals in my body make me change my mind about eating. I'm glad to have the product available in my freezer at all times. By the way, I am a food scientist and registered dietitian.

I eat the chicken pot pots 5to6 times a week sometimes I eat it for lunch then dinner. I am totally hook on them always have to have 12 boxes on stock. Tried other pot pies no way as good as yours. It would be nice if you could offer some discount coupons to help with the cost. HOOK

Marie Callender's pot pies, are by far my favorite pot pie in the freezer section. However, I am extremely disappointed in their new box for cooking in the microwave. It states it's faster and more evenly heated this way. It no longer has the material at the top of the box to crisp the actual pie crust. I tried it for the first time this evening, and the crust was soggy and tasted uncooked. I'm sure if you put it in the actual oven, you would not have that issue. However, I usually don't have 65 minuted to bake a pie. If I want to spend that much time, I will make a larger version from scratch. I hate to say it, but I won't be purchasing this item anymore. Please go back to the old way!!!!!!

I have wanted to try a Marie Callender's chicken pot pie for years and finally decide to try it. I am so disappointed. The chicken was pressed mush and there were so few veges I can count them on one hand. It should be advertised as fake chicken never tender white-meat chicken. Yuck

A good sale price prompted me to purchase these. I wasn't expecting much, at that price. I cooked one in my toaster oven @400° for 50 minutes, per the instructions. So Good! Not too much food, either, and they are nice and easy on my fussy tummy. Lots of chicken inside, too, which surprised me, honestly! I recommend to anyone using the "Conventional Oven" method, as I did, to take an extra minute to wrap the edges with a small crimped foil strip, as recommended on the box itself. The extra trouble results in a perfect crust. It's been very convenient, when it's evening, to have these available to cook for myself, while watching the news. Now, I'm out of them! 🥺 I'll definitely be making another "Sam's Run" to restock, before the sale expires! When the sale expires, though, I will still be buying them, for sure. 👍

Would it be a possibility to make a vegetable pot pie??? I love your pies, but cannot handle eating the meat. I feed it to the dog. If it could have the gravy from the meat, but not the meat, and Potatoes, carrots and peas, but no mushrooms, I would buy a lot of them. If you could help, I would sure appreciate it. Thank You

The recipe has been changed and not for the better. They used to be fairly good but no longer they are all crust with very few vegetables a few small pieces of chicken and very little gravy. You did have a good product and I did not mind paying more for them. But doubt we will ever buy them again.
