Not the Same

I had not purchased these in awhile and they have noticably changed. The packaging no longer has the top on it that you leave on in the microwave to make the crust flaky. So now the crust on top is just soggy. The sauce inside is watery and not as creamy as before. The pot pies are not as good as they used to be.

Disappointing chicken pot pie

We were so disappointed in the chicken pot pies we bought. The amount of chicken and vegetables was beyond minimal. I would expect the contents of the pies to match the picture on the box. These pies were a far cry from that! Why would you show chicken and vegetables filling the crust and then skimp on the contents?

Used to be good

After having eaten quite a few of these over the past several years, it would seem as if the quality of the chicken cuts has declined. Over the last several pies I've bitten into chicken chunks that were more fatty gristle or cartilage than meat. It was one such gob of chewy chicken-something-or-other that I just bit into (one of several in the one pie) that finally brought me to this site to voice a complaint. I will not be buying another one until whatever is going on here is resolved. The pastry dough in the pie tastes great and I am considering trying out one of their microwavable mini fruit pies... no nasty meat to be scared of.

lotta fat, salt and crust

I Want to like Marie's pot pies. But they're terribly salty, terribly high in fat, low in flavor, low in meat and veggies. What happened, Marie? If this is like homemade, then momma is a bad cook, Like the other reviewers mention, these pot pies are notable mainly for what Is Not in them. I got 3 chicken chunks, 3 carrots, maybe 3 peas, no celery in my small potpie.. Please Please Marie, make a lowfat, lower sodium pie with herbs for flavor, perhaps some parsley, sage, onions, garlic, and white pepper. Then add the chicken chunks, carrots, celery, peas and Only a Top crust. The bottom crust is always soggy anyway. I usually put it out for the birds and squirrels.

MC LASAGNA

Ummm...so it has been probably 5 or 6 years since I have had a MC frozen dinner. I just want to say that after microwaving this meal and taking a bite, it was better than I ever remember. Microwaves can often times ruin or overcook frozen meals. MC has their timing and packaging on point and I will start to use them as a lunch a couple days per week at work. Marie, great job, great team and great product!

chicken & turkey pot pies

I enjoy the flavor of both products, but my problem is never any celery in either one. Is there a reason for this. I cannot remember when I last found celery. I take the smaller ones to work for lunch and my husband and I have the larger size for supper.

We're sorry! There should be some celery in both our chicken and turkey pot pie. We'd like to get some information from the packaging, if you still have it, to report this to our quality team and make this up to you. Please email us at wecare@conagrafoods.com with case# 62487272. Thank you!

Surprisingly excellent

I wasn't expecting to like them. I have a child who needs to gain weight. They requested these. The calorie content did not disappoint so we gave it a try. Quite tasty. I like that they can be microwaved. We usually microwave 4 minutes, air fry it for 10. Crispy and faster

Not as good as when introduced.

I guess as with time all recipes are messed with. The original chicken pot pie crust dough was very flaky, flavorful, and looked as if home made. Visual now is pressed out, flat, different taste, just not as good as once was. Is still a good pie that rates with the rest out there. I am glad it still continues to have the bottom crust. Also not as much vegtables and chicken as original recipe. What you see on the box is not what is inside.

Why chopped and formed chicken meat?

Your chicken pot pie is great....except for the chicken. I bought 4 recently to bring for lunch at work and they taste great, except I have to pick out all the chicken meat becasue it is pressed and formed with lots of fat and gristle; it is gross. Start using chunks of solid chicken breast, even if that means putting less meat in your pot pies. When eating a pot pie you should be looking for the chunks of meat to enjoy them, not to remove them.
