They claim a "Golden Flaky Crust" made from scratch. My crust was HARD AS A ROCK, Carrots were like rubber, filling was dry, and filled less than one quarter of the pie, and way, way, way too much SALT, could use more filling and more chicken. I used to LOVE your pot pies and I've tried every one available with no success. The crust is doughy and just doesn't brown like it used to..just yukky now. Please go back to whatever you used to do to make them so awesome. Unfortunately until it does go back to the old version I will no longer purchase this product. And that makes me sad!

I am so disappointed with the chicken pot pies. I have been eating these for a few years. My family loved them. In the past few months, the quality of the chicken has drastically changed. Because I have a few more in the freezer, I am stuck with eating them myself because my family refuses to eat them. I spit out the chicken or try to pick it out. Very disappointing.

Have enjoy your family fruit pies for many years, however, I bought your chicken pot pie and was very surprised that you did not wrap your pies before placing them in the box. They looked somewhat freezer burned and dry. The exp. date was Jan 17 2016. I cannot visualize what they would look like in Jan. 2016. I've read a ton of bad” reviews, regarding the chicken pot pies. (Some old, some new.) My experiences with the 16 Oz MC chicken Pot Pies are great...nutritious & delicious! (I'll let you know if I find pieces of plastic...or whatever”...in them. But, after 5 years of eating MC everything, I've yet to find them.) 5 stars from this consumer, who appreciates the nutrients in SO many of her products.

Recently had heart attack. Dr's and heart association recommend 1500 to 2000 mg of sodium per day. Your package lists the sodium content at 990 mg sodium. I don't want to donate them or pass along to my family as I believe the level is far too high. My only recourse was to throw out 17 pies left. Very disappointing.

Since you have repackaged the pot pies with the browning dish, they are almost in edible. Cooked 9 min. As directed-----bottom was so burnt that it was in edible----couldn't cut or chew it. Rest of crust on bottom was also tough and half burnt. Pies are a big disappointment. Waste of money----and I still have two left in my freezer.

No, this isnt your grandma said home cooked chicken pot pie or mine for that matter but for what it is, it is darn good. It is a good tasting pre-made dinner. If you follow the over directions I'm sure you will be satisfied. It is a little small especially in the middle of a Minnesotan dinner but in a pinch I'm a happy lady.

I don't know why I keep getting these pies maybe cuz the inside is good however there's no amount of time that would cook that crust on the bottom I have tried and tried and tried and for some reason it's always wrong I have a picture I've nuked it like major minutes like a good 10-15 minutes that only messed it up, and then I tried to bake it and the top gets really brown but the bottom always stays Raw!

this is the first Maire's Pot Pie i have ever eaten. I have to say, everything was perfect but it lacked flavor. there was plenty of chicken. the veggies were colorful, not soggy and the crust was done perfectly. the gravy had no chicken flavor and for this reason I was disappointed. I was left wanting something else to eat. I also have to agree the 20G of fat is awful high although i expected the sodium content to be high, which it is.
