So far I'm impressed

I bought this to try to help clean the air to help with my allergies. I am in love with this! It cleans the air and leaves it clean and fresh smelling. Definitely worth the money!! This is one of my favorite items I have purchased in a long while!

This is exactly what I was looking for a quiet and reliable air purifier. One of my kitties has so many problems with the air pollution and since I bought these air purifiers (I bought two) she stopped coughing.

Great product, i now own two of these. We live in an environment that can be quite dusty at times. And we have noticed a marked improvement in air quality. Very easy setup and directions.

Seems to do the job. I thought my air quality in my home was worse than what the unit reads. I run it on manual during the day and auto at night…keeps the air smelling fresh. Wish the odor neutralizers were less expensive.

Ordered this to replace another brand of air purifier I was using. This made a dramatic difference. I was having a problem with itchy throat, which was cleared up within a day of having this running. I couldn’t believe the difference it made.

Ours lasted about 2 years before it just stopped one day abd the screen showed to dash marks I assumed it meant the main filter had finally given out. Now we ran this thing hard daily 24/7 so a little over 2 years is acceptable in my opinion plus we have multiple long hair dogs, long hair cat, etc. This thing is an absolute work horse! Only reason not 5 stars is cannot find official replacement filter anywhere so cannot use without it!

So far it's great except for one MAJOR issue - the way eco mode works. I decided after several years with my old (different brand) air purifier, it was time for an upgrade. After shopping around I decided on this one (I went Into it already biased in favor of Shark / Ninja brand, as up until now I've loved every thing I've ever bought from the brand). Powered it up and thought everything was great, until I few hours later I began to pick up some cat litter box odors that I had never had before. My assumption was that the odor control feature of this purifier would absolutely ensure even better odor control than my old one, which had no such feature and cost half the price. Boy was I wrong. Since getting it several days ago, the only time it will come out of eco mode and turn on is if I'm cooking and some little something burns off when I turn the burner on. When that happens it comes on for a few minutes then right back to eco mode. The major malfunction comes into play due to the fact that there is no odor control of any kind when it's in eco mode - it's literally just turned off and sniffing the air for particles to see if it needs to turn back on. And cats going to the litter pan don't trigger it to turn on. So I thought that would be easy enough to solve - just turn off eco mode. Well, turns out that if you want the fan to auto-adjust at all you can't turn off eco mode - no way to set it to always run at minimal speed and ramp up when needed (like my prior unit could do). So my options now are to let a multi-hundred dollar device just sit powered off and doing nothing for me 23 hours out of the day, manually set it to always run at a low speed and have it do nothing to help the air quality when I'm cooking and it needs to turn up, manually set it to always run on high and deal with the noise and shortened 'neverchange' filter life - or return it and buy something else. As of writing this, I'm still undecided on which option I'll go for.

It's costly & hard to find replacement filters on other air purifiers. This Shark has a permanent air filter which monitors the air quality automatically & works quickly & efficiently. There are various settings including an auto mode which monitors the air quality & increases automatically to maintain a good air quality range. This is an excellent buy if sold for under $300 as smaller, less efficient purifiers that need replacement filters sell for more than $300.

Works Great! The odor neutralizer was very strong when first inserted, so since unit was used for a sensitive person with lots of allergies we removed that. Like so much purchased a second one! The fact that the numbers dropped so much when popcorn was popped in a bag in microwave, and when bacon was cooked dropped down to zero. It was eye opening! Sooo quiet, super easy to use, and sleek looking!
