I bought this 2 weeks ago. The minute I plugged it in it said air was 100%. I left it alone and in the next 48 hours- still at 100%. I tried the perfume test , spraying about a foot away from the back of the unit, it went on with the fans at 2 for about 15 minutes then went back to 100%/eco. I even left the patio door open with "very high" pollen count outside, never went on. I know I have dust and I can see dog hair all over my tile floors. Don't think this was worth the price tag.

Purchased this about 2 months ago and have only been able to use it for a few weeks. The big filter on the inside smells horrible! I have a fairly clean house it just gets dusty from a dirt road. I live in the desert so humidity is non existent. The filter smells like dirty feet, it is so disgusting. I've tried cleaning it and it still smells. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE.

The Hepa filter does need to be replaced which is the thing I don't like about other air purifiers. Filters are very expensive and it cost a lot of money to have it replaced. This one has 2 filters on the side that can be cleaned and put back after. I really like the digital indicator that tells the air quality that we have. It gives me a peace of mind to see that our air quality is good after running it for a while. If we see the air quality on orange, we run it on the fullest setting, then if it reaches 100%, we switch it to auto in order to maintain the air quality. We have a pet bunny and birds that shed sometimes and this air purifier helps so much in cleaning the air and getting rid of the pet hair. It also eliminates the unpleasant smell with the help of the odor eliminator. I really love this air purifier! No more costly filters!

Purchased this three weeks ago, have had it set up for a week now running, the prefilter screens on both sides are as clean as the day I turned it on the first time. My window AC unit filters more dust than this thing does. I would return it but I threw the box away, stupidly, because every Shark Vacuum I own has been amazing so I thought this should be as well. WRONG. My little dog is litter trained, when he goes to the bathroom the unit doesn't even kick on from auto to a higher speed to clean the air, 30 minutes later the air smells the same. I am going to give it a full month then if it doesn't work I will bite the bullett and buy another brand.

Was really hoping this would solve our problems so we bought 2 units. Been running for about 3 weeks now and no change in air quality. Have noticed fine dust building up on the air purifier. Only noticed the air quality dropped when I burned pecans on the stove. Other than that it's stays on 100% even with 2 bigs dogs in the house.

I have had this model for a few weeks now, I had the heater and fan combo before and this is what they sent me as a replacement when my other one stopped working. It works ok, I actually think it doesn't work as well as the last one because when we cook this one doesn't go on right away like the last one did. Other than this it seems to filter the air well. I miss the fan and heater function. My hope is that this one will last longer than the last one did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I'm loving this air filter. what I love most is you don't have to change the filter. there are 2 sections on each side that you slide up and remove so you can rinse the dust off . It's really not that loud on the first 2 settings but on 4 you can hear it. I mean its not so loud that it would disturb you. It was easy to assemble you do have to take the bottom off and take the plastic off the filter before you turn it on.. it has a little odor neutralizer thats smells really nice and clean it has settings to allow you to choose your level of fragrance. The top part shows you the power button the timer and you can adjust the light on the front and the top in case you like it dark the timer goes up to 12 hours . there is a led light on the front that shows how clean the air is .and it tell s you how clean the side filters is . Having pets can sometimes be challenging as far as allergies. What I love most is you don't have to change the filter and it saves you money in the long run. I will say after a few days I felt like my sinuses were dry so I only run it while cleaning house and if we're expecting company . This is definitely worth every penny I highly recommend it

I came across the shark air fuser map and after reading all of the reviews I thought why not I'll give this product a try and I am so glad that I did so ! This air fuser max has completely changed not only my life, but also my families lives as well. Me and my family and my children all suffer with asthma and breathing problems so with that being said, we live in West Virginia where the air is not the best and it's humid most of the year so having good air is a must for us!! we have currently 3 to 4 air purifiers in the house and the air is still around “ fair “. So when I got this in the mail, I was extremely happy as it says it covers around 1,400 ft.² which is perfect for us as we live in a 2-story house. This is 8 now and we all feel so much more better than usual!! we all have severe allergies, so with this air purifier we are all breathing so much better we are not coughing nearly as much as we did just two weeks ago. We usually cough and sneeze all day long so this really has not just only improved our lives, but that's also has improved our health as well as I have my parents and grandparents that live with me! I truly cannot believe how amazing this product is not even having it in my house for two weeks in our health is just improving!! I myself and my friends has already told most of our family and friends that also have the health conditions as we do that they need to purchase this as soon as possible! I am so glad I decided to review the reviews on this product because if I didn't, I would've never known how amazing this truly is! I rate this air purifier a 10 out of 10 any day!!!!

It has a display that tells you the air quality along with a touchscreen that allows you to select different fan speeds. I also love the fact that you don't need to change the filter. Our house smells fresher since we have been using this.

This Air Purifier Max was a replacement for a prior air purifier purchase that the air sensor became defective. Shark replaced my air purifier under warranty with a better HP302 model. It was received very quickly and is working Great. I highly recommend Shark products and specifically their Air Purifier Max HP302. They stand behind their products.
