I cooked onions garlic and peppers with the air purifier on. Hour later still smells like I cooked my dinner. Smell is not as pronounced but for the square foot it's supposed to clean and my home is less than that. I'm kinda disappointed in shark as they have always made great products in the past. What's is happening in the manufacturing end?

Works pretty good. It's an air purifier not sure if it completely purifies the air or not but it's full of dog hair and dust when I clean it so it must be working. I suppose I could say I wish it would purify the air in my house 100% but that wouldn't be realistic now would it. I would buy another because it's got a pretty good size filter footprint compared to others out there.

To be honest, I already knew this thing worked. I'd seen the air quality reading drop every time I lit a candle and turned on the purifier, or even after using my "healthy" air fryer. 😅 But today really surprised me. With the wildfire smoke from Canada reaching Chicago, I got home from work and opened my front door for just a few seconds... and my purifier kicked on almost instantly. The air quality reading dropped right away. I was honestly amazed. I'm so thankful to have one of these at home. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing I'm breathing cleaner air, and my chronic allergies have gotten so much better too. Just to be clear—this isn't a paid promotion. I bought it with my own money because I genuinely love it, and having it in my home has honestly been such a blessing. 🤍

It works very well as far as I can tell. When in auto mode with good air quality it is almost silent. I have not have it long enough to judge the durability of the filter. I wish it had however a wifi/bluetooth capabilty with app to control it/review info

I've used the Shark NeverChange for 4 months now after doing much research into what could reduce my allergies, the Shark NeverChange was recommended several times over and the bonus that the filters don't need changed often was a strong selling point. The purifier is so easy to use, with simple controls on the top of the device, I like how you can turn the display brightness down, or completely off if you choose. There is a handy feature that shows how many particles of different sizes are being collected at any one time. Overall my impressions from short use have been fantastic, the air feels cleaner in the home and my allergies have significantly reduced, the device is easy to use and despite being large it is easily moved to another location because of how light it is. I look forward to continuing to use the Shark NeverChange.

Do not fall for their "NeverChange" filter that supposedly lasts about 3-5 years. Not even close! Mine lasts about 6 months, and that is in par with most reviewers are also experiencing. The filters are expensive and in reality this Air Purifier feels more like a filter subscription that you didn't intend to sign up for. False adverstising and misleading marketing strategy.

I am so incredibly disappointed with this purchase. I spent a lot of money purchasing this item (air purifier Max) and two smaller ones for our home. We have three long hair doggies (border collie and Aussies) that leave a lot of hair and dander. It is a lot of work to keep the home clean and our allergies at bay. I was researching ways to keep the home cleaner and us healthier and everyone recommended air purifiers, so I went with a brand I trust. I also have two shark vacuums. There has been ZERO improvement in the quality of the air in our home. There has been no reduction in the amount of dust in the home. No reduction in the amount of pet hair in the home. I'm still having to do just as much manual cleaning now as I did before we purchased them. It always says 100% air quality unless we're cooking something particularly smelly then it does kick on for a bit. I purchased this at the end of June - so three months later and the filter says it's at 78% already. I know never change doesn't mean never - but I was hoping for more than a year out of it. I feel like this would indicate that there is SOMETHING being done, but I am not seeing it. I check the filters regularly and despite there being plenty of hair in the home (yes, even with vacuuming regularly) and there's just about none in the filter. I'm not sure what this purifier is even doing for us and I wish I could send them all back.

I've had this air purifier for a couple of days and inadvertently put it to the test. I have a wood stove in the same room as the purifier. I made a fire in the stove that didn't quite get going right away and I needed to open the door to shir the fire. Upon opening the stove door, smoke billowed into the room. The air quality dropped into the yellow zone with a reading of 73. The purifier went into immediate action and within about 15 minutes the air quality returned to the blue zone with a reading of 100. Aside from that, I also noticed that there is almost no dust settling on furniture that I usually had to dust daily even though I had an Alene purifier sitting right next to the furniture. IMO, this air purifier is well-worth the investment. My only beef is that it doesn't come in black.

With so many Air Purifiers on the market, My Wife and I decided to try the Shark Never Change Air Purifier and I am glad we chose to go with this one. This has taken the odors and smells out of our house and the unclean air. Especially when cooking it really ramps up and goes into overdrive. This should be really helpful to our whole families health in the spring/summer/fall season when fires start spreading and take the air quality down. Purchased one to try out, but going to add two more very soon. One for the basement and one for the back of the house. Thanks Shark!

Easy to set up, the odor neutralizer is very mild with a pleasant smell. I have it set up in my cat room and you wouldn’t know a cat lived in there by the smell. The air quality percentage meter is a nice touch, it’s fun to watch it work and bring the air quality back to 100%. It’s very quiet on level one fan speed and I found myself turning up the fan speed for better white noise. It does take up some space in the corner but it’s not overly large. The remote works perfectly and incredibly easy to set up. I haven’t had it long enough to have to worry about cleaning it or changing any filters yet but so far it’s the best air purifier I’ve owned.
