I don't LOVE these, like

I don't LOVE these, like I do the regular Shockz. I mainly wanted to try these for those times when I am in a situation where my neck is pressed into the neckband. Maybe my ears are special but I struggle mainly with the left ear sitting right. I'm still trying to give them a go but have a feeling I will be passing them down to my son who doesn't mind the way they sit on his ear. I will say the sound quality is awesome. The battery life in my experience is not great at all. It doesn't even last me all day like my open run's do. I have to switch out half way through my day. I also struggle with the settings and with the ability to easily adjust the volume. I have disconnected a few calls just trying figure it out. That was disappointing as well. I will say the ability to be able to skip a song is a nice feature. I really want to love these; they just don't seem to be for me.

They are very lite and

They are very lite and they stay in place good. The sound quality is good and the battery life seems to last fairly long as I only use one at a time. I know they are not an Apple product but it would be nice if they could have them announce or read incoming texts and calls and if there is a way to see the battery charge on the case itself not just the ear pieces.

Comfort

Most comfortable earpieces I've ever had. I don't like most, but these are incredibly comfortable. Took a minute to understand the controls, and I customize them so I could use Siri and control the volume. Once I figure it out I can do that, I really love these headphones. My only fear is that they are so comfortable, I forget I have them on, and I'll jump in the pool.

Sort of mediocre

I have had shokz headphones for several years now and I loved them. Twice now, including my last pair, the charging function failed forcing me to buy another pair. I use my shokz running most days. I purchased the open air model hoping I would love them. To be honest, I don’t. They do not fit quite right, or at least I cannot find the right fit with them and I have to “crank” the volume up to hear any music if there is any ambient noise on the outside. I guess I was hoping for the same bone conduction performance of the other models but these do not provide that. For the about the same price I could just buy some Apple ear buds. Sorry guys, I think you missed it with this product.

They are pretty neat! But....

I could wax on about feel, weight, sound quality, but honestly, none of it matters. Shokz doesn't sell the charging cases separately. So now that my case is missing or destroyed, my ear buds no longer function. Sure! I can simply by another set up, but why spend that kind of money twice? I'm good with my OpenRun knowing I have charging options in case I misplace my cord.

Super happy with OpenFit

I have been using traditional AirPods and AirPod Pro for years and unfortunately those headphones was creating a lot of moisture in my ears and causing ear infections. I have sever hearing loss and rely on headphones to talk on my phone and conference call. When my audiologist suggested Shokz, I was looking for something like the AirPods design but it didn’t exist at the time so I purchased the OpenRun Pro. Although OpenRun Pro kept my ears healthier due to my impaired hearing, I struggle to hear it unless I was in a quite environment. It just wasn’t load enough for me like the AirPods or my Sony XM4 but this shouldn’t be an issue for someone with normal hearing. When I saw Shokz was going to release OpenFit, I was really excited because it was something I have been looking for. For me personally, these have been louder than OpenRun Pro and I have enjoyed them. Pairing them to my iPhone was easy. However, when I tried to pair it to my iPad or a 2nd device I did have to google how to do it. I have been able to pair it to my MacBook Pro. I am still in the process and in figuring out how to connect to Windows 10 and MS Teams. Overall I am grateful and super happy with OpenFit.

Wanted to love them

I wanted to love these, I am a huge fan of shokz. The sound quality is very good and they are light weight but you still have someone covering your ear, so although you can be hearing ambient sound, I find trying to speak with someone impossible. I have to remove one of the earphones. Also the “buttons” Or basically a where you tap to skip songs, pause or answer calls- is very difficult to operate. Either I tap too hard, or I have to be super delicate and light handed- which is hard to do when running or biking. And then there’s the possibility of losing one earphone. I will be retuning for a regular headset of bone conducting ones

Open fit convenient but heavy on the ears

I have enjoyed using the open fit for the past 2 weeks. After years of using shokz I'm a repeat customer for the brand. These performed in most ways. However, after about 30 minutes they become heavy and uncomfortable on my ears. Also there is no volume control on the ear pieces and that is missed opportunity for me.

I Lost My Beats, Shokz An Awesome Concept

Awesome concept, if it worked. I purchased mine and they were shipped quickly, packaged elegantly and paired immediately to my phone. Turned them on and my wife who knew nothing about them said I can hear everything you are listening to. I grew up with hearing issues but all other earbud types have worked very well. The open ear concept is a bad idea if you have hearing difficulty, ambient noise will over ride Skokz base and overall quality. I had to return them as they rendered useless to me, specially bike riding.

Overall I am happy with my purchase

Much better sound/audio quality compared to my OpenRun. Battery life is a little short, again compared to OpenRun, but I am now charging overnight and it works fine too. The way that it fits in/on your ear is reasonable. It feels a little itchy sometimes, but in general, it is OK. Also, they hold on to your ears quite nicely. They only came off 2 times. Once when I was taking out my T-shirt, once when I was taking out my glasses. I wouldn't say it is an issue. On the software side, the EQ works nicely, touch button customization is limited at the moment but works well. I think there is quite a bit of room for improvement and new features on the software front.
