[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my son who loves to hunt. Him and his friends now have a sealer for the meat instead of the ziplocks. They seem to enjoy using it. Its not hard to use..its light enough they carry. The buttons on the top . (For seal ..vac/seal and accessory.) Doesnt seem to be unbreakable. While pushing them it makes a clicking noise. But time will tell. I love how they already set you up for the 1st time by including some bags. Awesome added bonus.

terrible experience. used once and the vacuum stopped working? still makes noise but will not vacuum. i filed a warranty claim and never heard anything else. instructions are vague and not very great. for buying the product and only using what came with said product i expected better

The pouches are easy to prep and can be reused if needed which is a great feature. The instructions are easy to follow and make this a very simple process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up a FoodSaver Space Saver Vacuum Sealing System. Best thing I did! This is perfect for large families or singles. You can buy bulk or family size meat/chicken products when on sale and vacuum pack the number of pieces you need for a future meal. This is definitely cost saving. So simple to use with easy to follow instructions. The FoodSaver is also small enough for easy storage. It comes with an adapter, accessory hose, 2 qt bags. 2 gallon bags and a roll 11in x 8ft. No more freezer burn!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Foodsaver VS1210 helps extend the life of food by vacuum sealing and the machine doesn’t take up too much room. I like that the machine can be stored flat or vertically, which makes it easy to put away the Foodsaver when not in use. The downside of this being a space saving version of a Foodsaver is that it doesn’t have a bag or roll cutter installed inside. I don’t mind just using a pair of scissors instead and rather have a smaller machine. The machine is easy to use with just three buttons. I like that it also has the ability to use other Foodsaver accessories in addition to sealing bags. It did not take much of a learning curve to use this machine. I don’t find it any less powerful than full size Foodsavers. One negative of this machine is that it does require a bit of muscle strength to lock the machine down before being able to use it. The cover has to be pressed on both sides before you can start to seal or vacuum which might be difficult for some people with strength issues. The Foodsaver is useful to store groceries in the freezer and to separate up items bought in bulk. I also like to use it to seal things like bags of chips and other snacks. I think this is a good vacuum sealer overall and especially good if you are low on space and want one with a smaller footprint.

I have had great success in the past as I freeze a lot of what we produce.This,so-called space saver takes up more room because now I have to find other places to put the roll of plastic and it is much slower hand cutting with scissors. The older models were much more efficient.The vacuum motor is weak and only some of the bags seal and even then ,many still have some air in them.

I liked that I could plan ahead my meals and conveniently store food items with the different bag sizes depending upon my needs. The system was an ideal size to display on my counter.

I have had 2 previous Foodsaver systems and used them until I wore them out. Wanting the advantage of the size of this system, I selected the Spacesavor. What a mistake. It does not pull a sufficient vacuum and does not automatically seal. Now I am stuck with a unit that does not work and will have to buy another system.

I have used this product for the last 2 months and it has never had a hiccup. This is a must if you purchase food in bulk. It has saved me so much in both space and money. It definitely keeps food from freezer burns and a lot fresher.

I bought a few pounds of meat and then I was able to portion it out and use the food saver to seal up the packaging. It is not super noisy. It is pretty easy to use.
