I got this as a present, and I finally took it out to use it. Very disappointed. I would never waste my money on this product. I hate that you have to scan a code to get the directions which isn’t the biggest deal in the world just annoying. It takes forever to seal something, and you have to push extremely hard for it to even work. If it wasn’t a gift, I would bring it back to the store. Don’t waste your money.

It makes the food last longer on the freezer and allow them to keep a fresh taste. I love how compact it is and easy to use. I highly recommend it!

You will also need to keep a pair of scissors handy to cut out the desired length from the roll, as this foodsaver also does NOT have a built-in cutter.

I love that you can buy pre sized bags or customize them to your needs it sucks out the air and creates a prefect vacuum seal. It is very easy to use kids even like to help you use it.

I've previously had FoodSavers and they worked great for sealing everything, including jars, until they finally gave out.. Just purchased this model today primarily for sealing jars. Well, I tried to use it when I got home and the accessory hose doesn't even fit into the hole where it is suppose to go. It is too small, won't stay in place and falls out. Even if I try to hold it in place, it will not seal. I am using the correct jars, lids and FoodSaver accessory that goes over the jar/lid. I am returning this and will probably get a different brand. Plus the instructions are terrible!!!

It was so fun helping her prep and gave me some ideas for new recipes, and I knew I needed a compact vacuum sealer that is easy to use. One thing I like about this one is that it’s simple and the sound isn’t unbearable.

I have had great success in the past as I freeze a lot of what we produce.This,so-called space saver takes up more room because now I have to find other places to put the roll of plastic and it is much slower hand cutting with scissors. The older models were much more efficient.The vacuum motor is weak and only some of the bags seal and even then ,many still have some air in them.

I have used this product for the last 2 months and it has never had a hiccup. This is a must if you purchase food in bulk. It has saved me so much in both space and money. What better way to save money than to save most of your leftovers via this handy food saver that is so easy to use. It seals your leftovers in two sizes of bags. If you are a fisherman or hunter you can store the catch of the day in these without having to worry about freezer burn or spoilage. It is very economical. Nothing is worst than wasting food these days. I can now rest assured that more food is not being thrown out or dumped off to the compost bin. I am glad to have been able to see how this works because I am not having any trouble using it. It is a smaller sealer so it will fit on top of your refrigerator or somewhere like that.
