Excellent smoked sausage. Could not tell the wood type in the smoke flavor, though. The nose was that of Apple wood. But body had something stronger, like Oak wood. Dear Hillshire Farm, can you please tell us the wood type(s) you use in the smoking of this product?

I purchased these tasty sausages and to my surprise (multiple times) I bit into bone fragment. Every link had, at the very least, 2 incidents. Luckily I did not break or chip any teeth. Taste - 4 stars Quality - 2 Safety - Negative 5 and in my opinion not worth taking the chance. There are other brands that are able to produce sausages without them being stuffed with bone fragment.

I brought that links for breakfast only. And they were great tasting will buy more of these again.
