I've been using TurboTax Business every year since 1996 for my two small businesses, and I still trust it completely. After our very first year, we hired a CPA to do our taxes. He was nice and really tried to save us money, but he kept putting things in gray areas, shifting contributions into categories that didn't quite feel right to us. We weren't comfortable with it, so we made an appointment at the local IRS office, went over everything with them, and fixed the returns ourselves that year. Ever since then, I've done both businesses' taxes on my own with TurboTax Business. I like that it asks clear questions step by step, fills out all the right forms, and stays on the safe side of the rules. It gives me peace of mind knowing we're reporting everything correctly and not taking chances. The program handles everything my companies need: different business types, the usual deductions, industry-specific tips, and even audit help if I ever need it. Most important, I know it follows the IRS guidelines properly. I've recommended TurboTax Business to other small business owners who just want to get their taxes done right without worrying. After almost 30 years, it's still the tool I count on every tax season.

The product is accurate and easy to use. I have been using it since it was first offered (many, many years) and have not had any issues. The best part is how info carries over from one year to the next, saving a lot of time. Intuit software support does need to pay attention to their issue feedback as there have been some persistent issues with printing K-1s and Form 8825 that have been present for several years now and still not fixed completely. They need to fix reported items in a more timely manner. That is my only negative issue with TurboTax, otherwise, it's superb.

Its annoying that TurboTax will sell you ($50) a State tax form (in my case for a partnership in Indiana) for a business that you cant efile. If they sell you a State tax form it should at least be compatible. I could have just downloaded the pdfs from the State and filed them in myself if i wanted to file by postal mail.

I have been very pleased with TurboTax Business Desktop for the last 3 years. However, in 2025 I am still waiting for the Special Depreciation Allowance calculation to be updated before I can file two more returns and an even worse issue is the Schedule A, Form 8825 is not available for e-filing this year. I hope this lack of form support issue can be corrected before next tax year. Thank you for the opportunity to comment

Program changed all assets entered in previous years to "Qualified for Special Depreciation", selected 30% or 50% and entered "0.00" amounts. Assets were all originally entered with section179 deduction and never entered Qualified for special depreciation. I had to go back and change 3 entries on each of 33 assets to fix it.

I am trustee for my brother's trust. He lives in Illinois and I recently moved to Tennessee. Bacuase I am in Tennessee, the program defaults to Tennessee filings. Because my brother lives in Illinois, that state requires a trust tax return since he receives income while living in that state. To get the Illinois return option, I have to 'trick. turbotax by changing my state to Illinois. When the Illinois return is done, I then have to go back to the beginning and change my state mailing address to Tennessee. I then have to go through all forms to make sure mu state mailing address is correct. The program also erroneously calculated tax due on a income pass through. I had to delete the electronic file a few times and start over until the program calculated correctly.

Everything was fine until I started doing the Virginia State tax input. Took me longer to correct faulty information on state worksheets regarding in state vs. non resident owner. Explanation of why it could not be filed electronically was very poor and overrides led to more errors being recognized. It was a real mess. Had same problem last year for 2024.

I think TurboTax needs to stop procrastinating (15 years) and have a compatible TurboTax for Business for a MAC. I have used "band aides" so long it is the most frustrating to use Parallel or a notebook. Inefficient. Also, roll certain information over from prior year like Schedule B-1 for direct and indirect owners. Finally, FED Info Sheet. Once date to sign return, it is locked in. It cannot change. This is nothing new I have said i five years in a row. Why can you not fix it?

Hardest part of the process was getting my business download files--link from the e-mail I got after purchase repeatedly said "we're having a problem--try later." I did some update of my account info and eventually the link to the download worked. Would have been nice to have a more detailed error message or a way to reach some support. Only one very minor problem with my 2025 1041 return for a simple trust: on the screen for changing the address of the trustee (me), the street address was not editable--I think this is a small s/w bug. (I was able to type in the change using the Forms feature and the change seems to have propagated appropriately.) I very much appreciated the new option to e-file the 1041, and the support and guidance within the software for the steps needed to e-file. (I've had a lot of trouble -- lost returns, long delays in getting a delivery receipt, etc. -- filing a 1041 by mail in the past.)

I generally love to use Turboxtax but using Turbotax for the Multimember LLC this year has bee h worst experience ever! I actually purchased and downloaded the program. I needed to create a 1099-NEC. When I attempted, the Turbotax program stated my sign in information was not correct and did not have an active account. Extremely frustrating as I know I do. I finally had to use the desktop version just to create the 10699-NEC and now have to send by mail instead of having the option to efile. Also, I do not remember having to purchase a State separately in previous years. It is horrible to have to pay an additional amount not for a 2nd State but for just the State you need to file. Very disappointed!!!!!
