It lacks some more advanced features. I wanted to add and name an expense. That is a basic feature. It was frustrating to me because I'm used to more.

Very, very, very cumbersome. I worked with Lacerte for 20 years, and Pro Connect for 4 years. They worked just fine. Turbo Tax for Business was a major frustration to me. I'll look for alternatives next year.

Using TurboTax gets more painful every year. 2025 Business runs on Windows 10, but 2025 Home requires Windows 11. Why ??????? Pretty sure it lets you buy the same state twice and doesn't remember that you already paid for it.

The support is amazing. I could not find my return and Gloria, who is very helpful, knowledgeable and patient, helped me step by step. I could not have done this without her.

The way nondeductible expenses are handled on Schedule M-1 and M-2 was a little cumbersome. But I got through it. The way the input works left my tax return with an out of balance diagnostic. I was able to resolve it.

EXTREMELY disappointed with Turbo Tax last Year and now this Year as well.... I have used Turbo Tax for over around 40 Years and have never had issues in the Past.

You haven't improved TurboTax for many years. You could make 8453much easier than having me print it on paper, sign it, scan it, and upload it back to you.

As a 35 year expert in UX web design, I have to say TurboTax's UX/UI has a horribly outdated interface and UI. Tiny screens that do not accommodate high res displays. Non-windows style file manager, e.g., saving or printing pdfs in PC. As soon as I get my AI running on my local computer, I will not buy TurboTax again, unless they fix the UI/UX. It would be way easier to automate completing all of the tax forms in PDF format via Claude.

I'm a professional trader and needed to use form 4797 to report my trading profit / loss as ordinary income. However, after hours of seemingly being forced to tie depreciation to the profit / loss, I gave up and just used "Other Income" to convey my ordinary income through trading. Can't you guys put a "no depreciation" option in there so professional traders can correctly report their profit / loss.

TurboTax Business would not let me efile the Texas return with the federal return and would not give a reason. I had to go online to learn that it would not be ready to efile the Texas return until March 19 but I could file the federal and reserve the Texas file to later which I did.
