I am a CPA and use Turbotax desktop Business Edition to prepare my personal Sub-S taxes. I find it to be straightforward, very easy to use and accurate. I recommend this to others.

Poor state support in allocation of income between states has resulted in years of overpayment and need for amendment. Nonresidents have income exclusion rights available in certain circumstances! Fell short when it comes to subtracting state income generated in other states and generating State K-1, Failure to provide form 7217 is glaring error. State of Maryland Forms are not available on State return but are on Federal side, resulting in inability to efile if a trust K-1 is involved .. area.

This might be more for Quickbooks than Turbo tax but the integration to get my records into Turbo Tax from Quickbooks online is extremely painful. I wasted hours having to download Quickbooks desktop trial and getting it to work. Very buggy and such a waste of time. You are the same company and can do so much better.

I’ve found TurboTax Business very helpful for preparing and filing corporate taxes. The software streamlines the process, makes the required forms easy to access, and highlights potential errors before filing, which gives me confidence everything is being handled correctly. That said, there are moments where the instructions could be clearer. For example, when it comes to reconciling differences between depreciation calculated by TurboTax and depreciation per books, the software doesn’t always provide detailed guidance on how to make those adjustments. The same applies in some other areas where more explanation would help users understand not just what to enter, but why. Overall, it’s a very useful tool that makes filing much easier, but adding more precise instructions for special cases would make the experience even better.

I absolutely loved using TurboTax for my business taxes, as it's not difficult and saves a lot of money, as my accountant asked $1200 for it, and I only paid around $300 with TurboTax. As a matter of fact, I also used TurboTax for my personal taxes last year and got my refunds sooner than with accountant. Simply put, thanks God I don't have to use accountants any more.

I have wasted two entire days as well as many days before this weekend just trying to open up my TurboTax so that I could e-file my return!!!!! Finally, for some unknown reason, it finally let me get into it and was able to file my taxes after MUCHHHHHHH stress and aggravation. I have used TurboTax for probably 20 years.

I migrated from QuickBooks to QuickBooks Online, at YOUR behest. This tax season, I tried to go from an accountant to TurboTax for my business. I learned you have two MASSIVE issues: First, my C-Corp has to use software on a PC (v. Mac). What?! Fix this. Second, I learned Quick Books Online can't be imported into Turbo Tax Business. What?! For the love of all that is good, why would you want me to transition to QBO then deprive me of the importing of records for taxes. Needless to say, the manual entry experience was so bad, I am looking to leave BOTH products ASAP. I didn't pay for two products and migrate at your request to have a worse experience.

This was not a pleasant experience. The interface has too many hidden costs, and had several glitches (I couldn't enter the "fix" on one of the errors and also my needed State return was not available and I had to contact Intuit.) Support was helpful though!

We have used Turbotax business for years. It's always frustrating that it's not web based. I use Linux primarily and have to change to Windows computer to install the software. WHY does business edition have to be a windows only download?? Also, the state filing drove me crazy. It stuck on Wisconsin Form 3 with our business name highlighted with no explanation. After a few hours of trying, finally found that the start page info had the name in Upper and Lower case. In the Form 3 it showed up as ALL CAPS. Changing to all caps on the intro page fixed it and it eFiled. Also, I had to change a large photo of the signed form 8453-PE to a smaller .jpg. Can't use a high res version directly from my camera. Reducing size made it send without the "internet problem" message. WHY is there no clear message about the size of the file? Very disappointed with Turbotax Business edition. May try something else next year.

IT WOULD BE HELPFUL & QUITE USEFUL IF TURBO TAX BUSINESS HAD AN ELECTRONIC FILING ABILITY FOR THE FORM 7004 EXTENSION. THE ABILITY TO FILE THIS FORM ELECTRONICALLY WOULD ELIMINATE UNNECESSARY LETTERS FROM THE IRS FOR PAPER FILED EXTENSIONS AND ELECTRONICALLY FILED TAX RETURNS. THE IRS PAPER DELAY OF THIS FORM ALWAYS CREATES DISCREPANCY PROOF OF EXTENSION FILING. ****PLEASE UPDATE THIS FEATURE FOR TAX YEAR 2025*****
